Seller's Description
This is a fully functional, ready-to-use camper van with a fiberglass high top, and at 5'10" I can stand up fully inside. I’m sad to see my van go! I just do not have time to use it. This van has a clean title, no accidents, and no check engine lights. It has 111,663 miles and the 4.6L V8 engine runs great. 2014 was the last year Ford made the Econoline, yet nearly 12 years later you still see them everywhere. That says a lot about how reliable they are and how long they last. Heat works well, A/C blows cold, and it has Bluetooth connectivity for music and podcasts. It also has new Bilstein shocks and Sailun Terramax H/T load range E tires with less than 6,000 miles on them. The build is simple, practical, and very usable. It sleeps 2 people comfortably, the interior is insulated, and there is a lot of storage throughout the van including a large rear garage/storage area with a slide-out drawer, cabinets, and storage under the bench. The camper setup includes: - 280Ah battery system - 200W solar - DC/DC charger from the alternator - 12V chest fridge - Maxxair fan - Brand new Velit heater that taps into the van’s gas tank, so there is no separate fuel source to deal with - Large stainless steel sink - 30 gallons fresh water - 5 gallons grey water - 12V water pump - Sealed and vented propane locker with hose connection for a Coleman 2-burner stove - Coleman 2-burner stove included - 5 lb propane tank included - Mattress included One thing I really want to point out is the sealed/vented propane locker. A lot of van builds skip this, but it is an important safety feature and something I really value in this build. You don’t want a propane leak in your van. I also have a propane/natural gas/carbon monoxide detector, and the heater has an additional carbon monoxide detector. The stove can also be stowed away when not in use, which gives you more usable counter space. The electrical system has been great because it is simple and more than enough for this setup. On sunny days, I can leave the fan and lights on and solar alone keeps the system fully charged. I also had a comprehensive mechanical inspection and recent maintenance completed in February. Happy to go into detail on that with serious buyers. A few more things you should know: - The gas tank venting is a bit slow, so filling up takes a little longer than normal - The Velit heater has occasionally thrown an error code; I am in contact with Velit and they believe it may be a firmware-related issue. The heater is brand new and was installed by professionals (Alt Life Vans), not me. - There is minor surface rust underneath, but no structural concerns - One of the drawer magnetic latches does not catch very well and could use a simple fix - There are a few scratches, scuffs and dings. Purely cosmetic. This van is not as nice as a $200,000 Sprinter. However, it’s a great value for someone who wants a fully built, fully functional high top camper van without spending a fortune. You could move into this van tomorrow! Happy to answer as many questions as you have, or send more photos, shoot me a message!
