Seller's Description

Call or text Kurt at 573 two five nine 9779 This van is in excellent shape. It is a custom build with an open floor plan. We are mountain bikers, climbers, Moto Cross riders, hikers, skiers, kayakers, fishermen, and wanders; we designed this van to do it all. It seats four and sleeps five. The build concept is based on the following principles: All construction and accessories are light weight to keep the van functional and easy to drive, everything is modular to allow easy removal to customize load-outs for specific trips, floor plan allows space to live comfortably, and storage space is critical. The main area is very roomy! We designed the layout to allow us to hangout without feeling crowded. There is plenty of room to get dressed when ridding or skiing without stepping on each other. Most van builds try to use every inch of space to add something else, but forget to leave space to live. Our next van will have this same layout. It sleeps two perfectly, but can sleep up to five. The main bed has a full-size mattress. Its comfortable for two children or shorter adults to sleep in the garage under the main bed on an air mattress. The fifth person can sleep in the swivel passenger seat given it reclines almost flat to a very comfortable position. The kitchen has running water, a propane stove, and lots of countertop space. There is a four-drawer cabinet making up the kitchen area along with an overhead storage cabinet. The sink sits on top of the counter to save storage area and prevent wasting counter space. We use a propane stove that stows away under the kitchen cabinets. This allows us to cook inside or out if weather permits and doesn’t take up counter space when not in use. The fridge / freezer is a 65 qt. Staykol top loader that runs on 12v. We love is location and design. It’s easy to access and is very efficient. The water system is 12v and utilizes 5 gal. water bottles. We like this system because we can add additional bottles if the trip requires. We can also refill at a local source or purchase exchanges at any Walmart. We kept the water system simple to avoid freezing up when climbing or skiing and to eliminate the need to winterize. This van has tons of storage. In addition to the kitchen area, there is overhead storage along the passenger side wall and a huge garage. It is set up to haul four mountain bikes and all the stuff that goes with. The toilet is a small porta-potti that tucks away under the rear seats. Very handy! We use a rechargeable shower pump and a collapsible tub outside when the weather is nice. For indoor showers, we use the same system with a removable shower curtain attached to the ceiling. It all packs into a small tote and stores in the garage when not in use. All of the lights are LED, there’s two lights in the main area, plus one over the sink, one above the bed, and one under the bed in the garage. There are also four LED exterior flood lights. The electrical system uses a 100w solar panel to maintain two 95 amp hour AGM batteries that also charge off the vehicle’s charging system. A smart isolator protects the engine battery to prevent drain. All lights, fans, and accessories run on 12v. The 12v system is designed to sustain the van for a week when left unattended and only the fridge is running, of course weather dependent. There is shore-power that provides 110v into the van. It can be used with a generator or with an external power supply. We use a modular 110v AC unit when the weather requires. It is located in the garage and vents though the floor of the van. If not needed, it can be removed in minutes to save space. For heat, we use a diesel air heater located in the garage. It provides a ton of heat and sips the fuel. There are two CO / smoke detectors in the van. There is a Maxxair Deluxe fan with remote and thermostat installed. The van is very well insulated using two layers of double reflective foil and one layer of 5/16” foam board along with 24 cans of spray foam. The ceiling is insulated with double layer reflective foil and a Dura-Therm 5/16” roof liner. Custom roof rack holds the solar panel and can haul heavy loads. We often use it to haul four large kayaks without issue or to hang out on when at the track watching races. Also works great for catching a good sunset. Driver’s seat is equipped with adjustable suspension. I love this option, makes for a very comfortable ride on long trips. The passenger seat swivels 180 degrees. Factory options include heavy duty anti role stabilizer bar on the rear of the van. It has aftermarket wheels and Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. There is a front grill protector / brush guard and a rear receiver hitch wired for brakes / lights. Optional equipment if the price is right: Receiver hitch rack for dirt bike, a custom receiver hitch carrier that swings out so both rear doors can open when loaded, tire chains, original set of stock tires and wheels, 2500 w generator, shore power cords, tool kit, grill, shovel, axe, etc..
