Seller's Description

OVERVIEW Selling this custom-built 2016 Ford Transit camper van. Drives and handles like a cabin on wheels with surprisingly healthy acceleration via the twin-turbo V6. All possible glass/ windows with some no longer accessible from the interior. Conversion was completed approximately 3 years ago and once done, it was well used throughout Arizona, California, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. Over the last 6-12 months the van has seen less and less use and the decision has been made to part ways with this amazingly capable camper van. 2016 Ford Transit T350 High Roof (approx. 9’2” interior height) Extended Length wheelbase Rear-wheel drive with dual rear axle which significantly improves handling as well as increased towing capacity over standard rear axle. On several trips to Utah a double axle flatbed trailer loaded with a Can-AM side-by-side was pulled behind the van with ease. Thoughtfully designed, dialed-in DIY build with no shortcuts on electrical or safety (final electrical tie-in and inspection done by Copper State Van Co. Van has received RVIA Certification post conversation completion. A RVIA Certificate ensures that camper vans meet crucial safety, structural, plumbing, and electrical standards, increasing resale value and easing insurance/financing. The RVIA seal indicates compliance with NFPA 1192 standards for RVs. Without it, owners may face insurance denials, title restrictions, or difficulty registering their vehicle as an RV.
