Please refer to the window sticker for full options list. With some luck of the Irish and a bit of European influence I present to you Lucky Strike. A 2025 Ford Transit adventure van featuring a forward murphy bed with rear bath/gear area, off grid AC, and a comfortable forward living space. This high roof Transit feels like bright open spaces thanks to the high ceilings and the Arctic Tern dual pane roof hatch. Part of its European influence, this van has no roof fan, the expectation is that with the off grid Nomadic AC, the reliance would be more on it for temperature control. The hatch does have many opening settings and the convection through the hatch when a window is open is quite good. When the temperatures get cold you can rely on the Elwell Timberline heat and hot water system to provide plenty of heat. The hot water is supplied to the kitchen sink faucet as well as the rear shower area with a stainless steel shower pan recessed into the floor. Adjacent to the shower is a crate tower with a Trelino composting toilet on its own little trolley. I like that the bed can, for the most part be completely concealed in this van, and when it is, the opposite side can be used as a desk, workbench, or overflow meal eating/prep area. When the bed panel drops down the 6” mattress folds out to 52”x75” with a total of 80” wall to wall. One of the nice features of the forward bed is that either sleeper can get out of the van without climbing over the other in this “east-west” sleeping configuration, and as I like to say the back door is the quietest door to go in or out at night anyways. The living area features a 42” wide bench seat and swiveling front seats with a Lagun adjustable table mount that swivels between each. The kitchen features as much accessibility from outside as it does from the inside. With a stainless steel outdoor drop-down table, and an enormous Dometic 115L stainless fridge/freezer. A stainless faucet with pullout sprayer and sink are nestled inside the stained euro beech countertops. Below the sink is a cabinet with a shelf and a stow location for the induction cooktop. Just behind the kitchen is a appliance drawer with a stainless toaster oven/air fryer combo and more pantry storage. The cabinets are finished in a two-part epoxy. We like the epoxy because is withstands the rigors of vanlife better than anything out there. Weather it’s kicking the corners with ski boots or the extreme temperature and humidity fluctuations it can take it all, no touch ups required! Storage is based on removable crates, super convenient for loading and unloading before and after a trip, or laundry mats and grocery stores, there are 6 crate locations. There are other cubby locations, shelves, hooks and of course the upper cabinets on both sides. Bikes can be stored inside utilizing the VanCentric rear threshold L-track plate and bike fork mount. Exterior attitude adjustments include a Van Compass Stage 1, 2” lift and topped off with Van Compass new front Falcon Rally Struts. VanCentric wheel set with Falken Wildpeak AT4’s. An AVC Rig roof rack carries 400 watts of solar panels and a Starlink Mini. At the rear the Flatline Van Co. rear door spare tire/ladder rack also mounts the AC exterior unit. This van currently has 105 miles and will go up as we go through the final punch lists and testing of systems.
