I’m the 3rd owner of the truck and have owned it since 2007, so I’m very familiar with its history and overall health. The camper is a 2009 All-Terrain Camper Bobcat; I’m the 3rd owner and acquired it in 2020, at which point I rebuilt the truck specifically to carry this camper. These two are very much a matched package. The truck’s suspension and braking system were upgraded intentionally to support this camper’s weight. As you’ll see in the photos, the truck sits high and stable despite carrying a fully equipped camper. This is a custom-built, thoughtfully engineered setup — not a slapped-together combo. The truck runs great. It has the wear and tear you’d expect from a 26-year-old vehicle, but it has been maintained with care and intention. I’ve aimed to be fully transparent about what work has been done and what a future owner may want to address down the line. There are no engine codes or critical maintenance needs, and it’s ready to head out on a trip immediately. We recently completed nearly $3,800 in maintenance less than 300 miles ago, all work you’d eventually expect on a vehicle of this age, to keep it running clean and strong. This rig is an absolute monster on rugged mountain roads throughout the Southwest. The camper weight actually helps the suspension flex and articulate, maintaining traction far better than the truck does empty. You won’t be flying up highway passes at 70 mph, but it will confidently take you up just about any mountain dirt road. With a footprint closer to a Jeep than a full-size pickup, it handles tight switchbacks and narrow roads with ease. Since the camper was installed in 2020, the truck has been a second vehicle, used only for camping trips. It’s seen roughly 15,000 miles over the past 5 years, with oil changes performed multiple times per year during that period — averaging roughly every 1,500 miles — to keep the engine well lubricated. The only reason we’re selling is that we have a baby on the way, and this setup doesn’t work for two adults and a car seat. I’ll also include a custom swing-out bike rack, built specifically for this truck. It was designed to maximize departure angle while off-road and is strong enough to stand on as a primary step for camper access. Standing on the rack allows you to open the camper’s external side windows. Bike trays are not included.
