Seller's Description

Built this travel van, so I could see the country despite doing a form of daily dialysis. At night, I sleep plugged into a small machine, that uses fluid bags and hoses. Traveling means bringing supply boxes and my machine, and keeping them at room temperature, regardless of where I was. Bought a new cargo van outfitted with Harbor Freight Shelves, and added insulation, customer solar panels, contained rear batteries, onboard A/C and heater for the back compartment, outlet and phone charger, and fold down sleep deck for quick naps. I prefer to sleep on a hotel bed and shower in hotel showers, so I only included the sleep deck for quick naps on long trips. Still, I did manage to sleep in the van on a handful of nights, in campgrounds. On the shelves, I put two weeks of clothes, various attire for all weathers, laundry supplies, my bike and bike gear, van wash supplies and window cleaner, and a safe for valuables. I chose a no-windows van because I didn't want people seeing my bike. Which left me with the blank windowless white van you couldn't park near schools or parks if you get me. Decided it needed a cover, something that showed I wasn't trying to be suspicious, but also didn't seem to indicate I was carrying anything worth breaking into. Hence, the outside branding "Interstate String and Yarn" a delivery van for a mythical seller of string and yarn. No one in their right mind would break into a van to steal yarn. I got a kidney transplant, and now can travel with a lot less. Would love to see this van go to someone who values the solar panel and temperature enhancements. Maybe someone traveling with medical supplies like I did.
