Seller's Description
4.6L V8 Automatic 187,000 miles, 2WD (Rear) Fully built-out camper van, insulated and comfortably sleeps two. Sturdy slide-out bed. Tons of storage under bench seats, in cubbies, cabinets and in the rear. Brand new 100Ah 12v AGM auxiliary battery powers dimmable lights, fan, and 12v accessories. The system is charged by the alternator when going down the road, and is isolated such that it will not drain the engine’s battery. This “DIY” conversion is well built and sturdy. This vehicle was originally imported from Canada in 2019, so its speedometer and odometer is in km, but other than that this vehicle is identical to the American version. Runs and drives strong, cruises comfortably at 65mph, gets about 15mpg on the highway. Off-road tires with lots of life left in them. Awesome and sturdy build-out and electronics. *Work that has been done:* New spark plugs 2023. New front brakes 2022, rear brakes in 2020. New pitman arm and steering box 2021. Regular oil changes. Imported from Canada with a clean title, currently registered in WA, and has passed emissions testing. *Work that still needs to be done:* Has some rust on rear quarter panel, surface rust on some places. Roof Paint Needs Attention. Right valve cover seeps oil (minimally), will probably require new gaskets in the future. From time to time, will throw an EVAP sensor code (P0440) that is suspectedly due to the gas cap. (I’ve tried replacing the gas cap with worse results, so I decided to live with it.) Overall, this van has been fun to drive and had made many trips down the West Coast as well as the mid-west.
