2003 E450 Turtle Top party bus partially converted into camper; ready to go farther. Just under 172,000 miles. Half the seats have been removed to make room for a bed, and there is a cabinet and overhead storage. 7.3 diesel engine runs strong and transmission is smooth. Makes a great road-tripper and ready for further conversion. Seats 7. Her name is Tourmaline! Good stuff: Custom trailer hitch and 7-pin wiring--will tow up to 10K pounds. Factory block heater. Injector pressure controller replaced last fall. Both batteries and both alternators replaced in 2023. An access port for the side battery has also been cut into the stairs for easier maintenance. Glow plugs, starter and all 6 tires replaced in 2024. Southern truck, absolutely no underbody rust. Custom "ironclad" paint job. The rivets and rust are fake, this has a fiberglass body. Driven cross-country 3 times in the past 3 years! Issues: Vehicle was vandalized prior to my ownership, so the wiring to the side door and rear cabin is messed up. As a result, the side door has to be opened manually. Has rear AC unit but the wiring to it is gone. (Rear stereo speakers have been rewired so they work.) Missing one lug nut from LF wheel. Fuel gauge and temp gauge do not work. Cab HVAC needs vacuum switch. (Common issue for E-series vans.)
