Seller's Description
This is a 1998 International flat nose school bus that has been partially converted for living and travel use. The bus has 38,000 original miles and retains its original factory installed drivetrain. The engine is the original DT466 diesel and has not been swapped or replaced. Mileage is documented by prior ownership history and condition. This bus was originally owned and operated by BVSD and used as a field trip bus rather than a daily route bus. After district retirement it was sold to a private owner and later purchased by us. The bus started as a complete school bus with all factory seating, flooring, and interior panels still installed. All conversion work was completed after a full interior gut. There are no signs of rollover, frame twist, roof collapse, or major structural damage. Body panels, roof lines, and window openings remain straight and consistent. The bus has been driven regularly and recently completed a 5,000 mile road trip without mechanical failures. The platform is currently set up to support both off grid solar powered use and shore power hookups. All major systems are installed and functional within their designed limits. The bus is roadworthy and ready to be driven immediately.
