Seller's Description
I am selling Shakki, my 2002 Eurovan Camper. I’ve had it for 5-years and we’ve had an amazing time camping all over the Rockies, California, and twice all the way down Baja California. I am the third owner but I have records going back to when it was bought (including the original window sticker!) The van has 161,000 miles and runs great, but I am still driving it so mileage will change. I am in Albuquerque, but if I would be happy to drive it out to you as far away as CO, TX, UT, AZ, NV and CA and OR. Might even be able to drive it to the mid-Atlantic. This assumes there is a willing/serious buyer who is willing to meet me near or drive me to a major airport. Mechanically it’s in great shape. For the past five years most major work has been done at Indian Peaks Auto in Boulder. They know Eurovans (the owner has weekender!) and they I have taken great care of it. Major mechanical work includes: 125K Miles: Transmission replaced w/rebuilt, timing chains and guides, upper ball joints, MAF, spark plugs, etc. 136K miles: Front and rear Koni Red shocks 156K Miles: Brake master cylinder & brake booster replaced, AC inspected and small leak addressed, valve cover gasket replaced The “house” part of the camper is also in good shape. The 3-way fridge works in all modes, water system works well and I have flushed/cleaned the tanks within the past year, heater works well. Most interior lights replaced with LED, house battery is one year old. 3-years ago I had the foam on the mattress pads replaced with HR2545 so beds are comfy. The propane tank valve and regulator were replaced within the past week. Issues on the house side: Mosquito screens on the tent have some small tears, sliding door ocassionally doesn't lock with the FOB. Included with the van will be some camping stuff (if you want it), a small step stool, the telescoping aluminum ladder to reach the top bunk, home made mosquito screens for the sliding door and windows, leveling blocks, etc. I marked Shower in yhe amenities list, this is an outside sprayer that VW labels as shower. It's good for getting the crud off after a day in yhe great outdoors! I am sad to part with Shakki but based on my current life-plans I will likely not be using it for the next 3-5 years and I don’t want to just leave it parked. She would be happier finding a new home and going on more adventures.
