For a fee of a $1.50 per mile plus fuel expenses we can deliver anywhere in the country from the Charlotte area. We are selling our beloved camper van! We built this out to travel and camp with our first son and went on a 3 month road trip when he was 6 months old. This February we are having our third child and so we are forced to upgrade to something similar but with more seats! Otherwise we wouldn’t be selling as we absolutely love our van as both an excursion vehicle and a daily driver always stocked with supplies for the kiddos. That was a perk that we hadn’t anticipated and that we love. A little about the van: In planning the build, we wanted it to be low maintenance, with lots of storage and because of that it’s very versatile and not cumbersome. There is no running water but we did rig it for a removable 7 gallon water jug hooked up to a Dometic rechargeable pump for potable water in the cabin. The solar panels on the roof charge a house battery that runs interior lights, diesel heater, Dometic fridge and USB/12 volt charging ports in the mid and rear cabin. The heater is a Chinese Diesel heater that runs straight from our diesel tank. If you aren’t familiar with them there are lots of forums and Facebook groups for the various models and how to operate them. It has an altitude controller so you can camp and run your heater at camp sites above 5k ft and a remote for ease of use. We replaced the stock diesel tank with a 47 gallon diesel long range tank that gives us a range of around 800miles per tank which was one of our favorite upgrades even though it was one of the more expensive ones. On a three month road trip from Florida to California to Oregon to Connecticut and back to Florida we averaged 18mpg. The “kitchen” area is a long drawer in the rear of the van with a 500lb weight capacity (which I think is the rating when fully extended but at a point 1 or 2ft from the beginning of the drawer). It’s very sturdy and has a large work surface as well as two shelves for storage as you can see in the images. It has a pop out insert that we made for the dinette table in the convertible dining area with the swiveling captain’s chairs. Ladder is by Voyager Racks on the left side and goes to the custom rooftop deck. We also crafted a deflector fairing for it. Stereo is a ATOTO double din head unit with CarPlay, and speakers. We travel with a removable toilet that is not included in the sale but worked well for us. Overhead ceiling vent fan by MAXXFAN. If anyone with kids is wondering, a pack n play does fit on the floor space next to the bench seat and I can show you also how we rigged the bed area to function as a crib.
