Seller's Description
2021 Ford Transit Crew Van T350 AWD – High-End Camper Conversion (WIP) After a lot of consideration, I’ve decided to list my van. Unfortunately, we just aren’t using it enough to justify keeping it. This was very much a passion project, and while I’m not excited to let it go, time constraints have made it impossible for me to finish the build. This van is an excellent foundation for a premium camper conversion, with hundreds of hours already invested and over $23,000 in high-quality upgrades included. Base Van Kelley Blue Book Value - $50,000 (Private Party price with included options) Aftermarket Upgrades - $23,400 ________________________________________ Vehicle Overview • 2021 Ford Transit Crew Van – T350 AWD (Factory AWD — not a 4x4 conversion) • 3.5L EcoBoost V6 • Just over 20,000 miles • Extended Warranty through 2028 • Kelley Blue Book value of base van w/ options: ~$50,000 • Accessories included: ~$23,430+ This is a Crew Van, which provides a factory-installed rear seat with side curtain airbag protection — something you do not get with most retrofitted cargo vans. Why a Crew Van matters: • Rear passengers have OEM side airbag protection • Avoids insurance complications of aftermarket seating (e.g. insurance will cover you here, but you may be out of luck with a DIY bolted in backseat) • No exposed side airbags in the cargo area (unlike passenger vans) ________________________________________ Factory Options & Packages • Extended warranty through 2028 • Extra keys • Tow package & trailer brake controller • Upfitter switches with auxiliary fuse panel • Dual batteries • Extended range 31-gallon fuel tank • HID headlights & fog lights • Front wheel well liners • Power front seats with aftermarket swivels installed • Safety package: adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, etc. • Auxiliary heater prep package ⚠️ RackAttach swing-away hitch shown in photos is not included. ________________________________________ Conversion Status This is a work-in-progress build, ideal for someone comfortable completing a project. That said, it offers a huge head start—the difficult, time-consuming work is already done. ________________________________________ Included Upgrades & Accessories Total estimated cost: $23,430+ Exterior & Chassis • Van Compass 2” lift kit (professionally installed) – $2,000 • Van Compass skid plate – $700 • Michelin CrossClimate tires (215/85R16, ~7k miles) – $1,550 • FVCO aluminum roof rack w/ wind deflector – $2,200 • Flarespace driver-side flare w/ Arctic Tern window + passenger-side solid flare – $2,300 • Arctic Tern powered skylight / roof hatch – $2,150 • Aluminess rear door tire carrier w/ ladder – $2,000 • Aluminess rear passenger door cargo rack w/ (2) OneUp bike trays – $2,415 • MaxxFan Deluxe roof fan – $330 • 15-gallon undermount grey water tank (installed) – $150 • 2-person hardshell rooftop tent (accessed via rear ladder) – $1,000 ________________________________________ Electrical System (24V Architecture) • Victron MultiPlus 24V inverter/charger • Kisae Abso 2000 pure sine inverter/charger w/ remote panel – $550 • 24V / 280Ah LiFePO4 battery bank (6000W) w/ JK BMS – $1,000 • Victron BMV-712 battery monitor – $160 • (2) Victron Orion 24V → 12V converters – $180 • Vitrifrigo Slim 150 refrigerator (24V DC / 120V AC) – $2,200 • Misc. wiring, fuse blocks, LED light bar, rear spotlights, etc. – $400 ________________________________________ Plumbing & Heating • 41-gallon fresh water tank – $115 • Seaflow 24V water pump – $70 • Walrus 500C hydronic heater – $1,100 • SureCal 22L electric / hydronic hot water heater – $860 ________________________________________ Interior Build (Work in Progress) • Full insulation: o ½” polyiso bonded to sheet metal o 2” Thinsulate throughout o Additional full roll of Thinsulate included • Floor insulated with polyiso, HDO plywood, and high-density foam between ribs • HDO plywood used for floors, walls, and structural framing (extremely durable, moisture-resistant) • Overhead storage cubby above cab • Upper cabinets above sliding door and passenger area • Planned bathroom space behind rear seat (driver side) • Fridge + closet on passenger side • Raised bed platform with large storage underneath • Two large overhead cabinets above bed • 4” foam mattress included ________________________________________ Included Materials • Large roll of black rubber coin flooring • 1/8” foam underlayment • Grey vinyl finish fabric for interior panels ________________________________________ Additional Notes • Rooftop tent accessed via rear ladder; aluminum roof deck platforms installed behind tent • Skylight includes shade and bug screen (powered, manual backup) • Countertop shown is a temporary template only (butcher block not included) • Interior photos and a rough floor plan are attached to show intended layout ________________________________________ Final Thoughts This van is ideal for someone who wants a premium, well-thought-out build without starting from scratch.
