1997 VW Eurovan, original owner, well maintained with lots of TLC, and considered in clean condition. Because the Van was kept in a garage in Colorado’s dry climate, there is virtually no body deterioration. A brand new $100k camper van plate registration in Colorado will cost in excess of $1,700 for the first year compared to our 1997 Eurovan plate registration which is $74/year. The Eurovan averages around 16mpg and can achieve up to 18mpg during flat low speed highway driving which is comparable or better than newer camper vans. The Eurovan is the original Swiss Army Knife of vehicles because it can be used 1) to seat up to six people for daily driving, 2) as a cargo van with the two back seats removed, and 3) as a camper sleeping up to four people. • Daily Driver: holds up to 6 passengers (middle bench seat can face either backwards or forwards). • Cargo Van: both rear seats can be removed so the van can hold 4X8 sheets of plywood or drywall. • Camper Van: sleeps up to 4; sink with faucet; 2-burner propane cook top; LP furnace; 3-way refrigerator (propane, battery, electric); rear mounted sprayer and hose; ample storage including closet with hanging bar and two shelves, under seat storage, medicine cabinet with mirror, utensil drawer, cabinet under utensil drawer, under sink large cabinet with shelves, rear cargo area, top mounted rack above cab, and rear inside covered storage area for electrical cord/grey water hose.
