Jean Claude Dam Van has been my best friend for the past three and a half years. My partner and I used him as a part-time home for road trips, where we worked remotely. Perfect for ski and snowboarding trips because of the great insulation and diesel heater, and the snow tires are already on for the season. He’s been reliable and never had any mechanical issues. The front-wheel drive also makes him a beast in the snow. He’s also been great for music festivals. The 136″ wheelbase means he’s the same length as some pickup trucks, avoiding the expensive RV passes for festivals. This also makes driving and parking in the city a breeze. I took care of him too, getting regular maintenance and service before the recommended mileage. We are no pets and no smoking, so he’s great for allergens too. Comes with two sets of tires – one for summer and one for winter, although both are winter rated. These were swapped out regularly, so both have lower mileage on them. Also comes with Living In A Bubble bug screens for front and back doors (pictured) and WeatherTech window shades for privacy (pictured). Professionally built by Kundalini Van Co. in Oregon in 2021.
