I know folks intend well, and this Van inspires the "gotta have that!" feeling. Please still feel free to ask any questions,.. *$2000 off listed price, or free auto transport shipping!! Offer is only available til January 15th, 2026. (Continental USA only for the free shipping). We are offering this to help free up a spot in the shop for an urgent project. After 1/15/26 other arrangements will be made and the offer will end. This Vanagon is being kept inside until sold to keep her as pristine as possible. See "Video Tour" below at youtube and look in the description area for a detailed description of the restoration. (Click the youtube logo at the bottom left, then when the video opens, click "more" or "description") *Compare to a Transit, Sprinter, or Winnebago newer style van campers(which are very nice btw). Price wise I would state 2 things: that those will loose a bit of value, while a Vanagon or other Vintage vehicle will hold or increase in value(both dependent on a myriad of variables), and that you could put half the difference into this Van to update the full powertrain to modern VW, subaru etc and have plenty of funds left over. Another advantage is size. These Vans, while obviously not as large inside, have adequate interior for long term stays. The size advantage comes when it is time to cut into a dirt trail/road, parking, turning around on a skinny road while exploring, getting gas, or even just tucking away for a stealthy ninja nap(with the top down it's just a parked vehicle to most, where the other Vans seem to always look occupied to me). Optional 15" rims (6, so you'd have 2 spares) available with good General Grabbers installed(the last photo of the black rims shows those installed). Also, if you want a street tire installed on 14" or 15" rims, 16" rims also available. https://www.amazon.com/photos/shared/ziyPRm1dRkSuwUsgeaz5YA.48CF5k-zzVP-9L7V-22Vi8 https://youtu.be/aRs1v-12t6M?si=M9_JUknB0MIbcyOV Here's a health check on the oil psi at idle and 2000rpm as well as a check of the sensor output reading to the ecu. https://youtu.be/BqxOcZDvDiE?si=FqHW4oBWEZ7l1yJ- - [ ] New Brakes: pads/shoes/cylinders, lines, rebuilt calipers - [ ] Speedo cable, cap and grommets - [ ] Coolant flush/swap/new pressure cap, new junction hose to right cylinders (hardest one to get to!) - [ ] New R transfer hose/gskt - [ ] RPM gauge fixed - [ ] Instrument cluster rebuilt: aftermarket circuit and light upgrade - [ ] Entire washer system rebuilt, hoses, sprayers, improved mount for tank - [ ] New wipers - [ ] Badge/Emblem delete - [ ] New antenna GW - [ ] New fuel system -seals, all hoses, level sender, tank cleaned and painted/brackets painted, filter, and hose clamps, good low mile GW injectors, new evap hoses, tank seals and plastic Ts - [ ] New Bosch vacuum distributor German OEM (new vacuum lines in engine bay) - [ ] New idle control unit - [ ] Fresh oil change - [ ] Transmission oil change - [ ] CVs rebuilt new boots - [ ] Radiator cleaned - [ ] Engine compression healthy! 1.9L WBX - [ ] Oil Psi is up to spec at the prescribed rpms and temps/new sensor - [ ] New belts - [ ] Air filter - [ ] Valve covers painted and new seals - [ ] All new glass/window seals - [ ] Slider windows rebuilt with new seals and sliding guides - [ ] All new door seals - [ ] Both parking brake cables New - [ ] New fr blinker and side marker lenses - [ ] All new bulbs, LEDs on all blinker and brake lights - [ ] GW halogen kit w protectors - [ ] New grill clips - [ ] New bumper end caps - [ ] New clutch master - [ ] New Window cranks - [ ] New Door lock knobs and guides are new - [ ] New interior door handle bezels - [ ] New sunshades n clips - [ ] New poptop canvas, all top seals, all new stainless steel fasteners, GW adj mounts - [ ] New Epoxy liner inside and outside of the top, looks original in color and texture on the poptop, will last a very long time - [ ] Wood frame and brackets for poptop refurbished and sealed - [ ] New rear hatch struts - [ ] New seatbelts - [ ] All new cushions in all seats and bed - [ ] All new custom covers (almost exact replica of the Van's original, except for the beading) - [ ] New insulation and carpet - [ ] New Custom wood panels on all doors/hatch and ceiling - [ ] Fire proof insulation installed behind panels - [ ] Rebuilt heater system -valve, heater core, resistor pack, blower motor: all new - [ ] Rebuilt, cleaned, lubed sliding door rollers and cables - [ ] New door handle and latch seals - [ ] New propane system(mounting system, hose and regulator)w new DOT Manchester Tank 1lb (easy to refill or swap in disposable 1lb bottle) - [ ] New sink faucet, pump, hoses with cut of valve - [ ] Custom battery monitor system - [ ] Two new deep cell Optima batteries - [ ] New DC outlets: one heavy duty on auxiliary, one usb/usbC(x2) on dash - [ ] New Battery isolation switches, housing box/vent and cables on house battery -full size cables, can be used as stand alone backup battery to start and run - [ ] Custom AC shore power, new outlet with usb and usb C outlets built in -a usp, or power supply can easily be put in the cabinet to power outlet - [ ] Meticulously cleaned, sealed, and undercoating applied to chassis and fenders - [ ] New paint inside and out on rims - [ ] New GG AT2s 27" - [ ] New Land Rover mirrors - [ ] New doors off paint job: epoxy primer sealed, with Acrylic Urethane Glacier Blue single stage high gloss paint.
