Custom-Built Remote Work Camper Van

I designed this camper van for maximum flexibility while living life on the road as a remote work couple. It features two work desk spaces with ergonomic office chairs that sit atop coolers used for storage, a slide-out king-sized bed, and enough electrical power that we never needed to worry about running out of electricity while working from the road. I recently lost my remote work job, so I'm once again a ticket-punching office stiff. It's now time to let the van go... The slide-out bed system is made of three separate 4"-thick mattress pieces that can be made into a quasi-sofa when not fully extended. And when the slide out is fully extended, the three mattress sections laid out make a 72" x 87" sleeping area. This might be our favorite feature :) Both desks have a slide out drawer with enough capacity to hold a laptop, charger, books, etc. And each desk has a 4k monitor mounted at eye level. The water system is powered by a Dometic GO Hydration water faucet. The water storage system is made up of two, five-gallon stainless steel jerry can-style containers for potable water and a single plastic jerry can for gray water. The jerry cans provide flexibility because they can be removed and filled anywhere you have access to water. The 12V electrical system has 400 Amp-hours of LiPO4 batteries, 440 watts of solar, and 700 Watts of 120V AC power. The battery bank is charged via solar and optionally a 15 Amp shore power connection and a 30 Amp DC-DC alternator charging system with a manual on/off switch on the dash. The Victron Energy BMV-712 integration lets you monitor incoming and outgoing power and battery bank level via the Victron Connect app. The refrigerator is a front-loading Dometic NPX 115C with 113L of storage including freezer space, which is plenty of space for food and drinks for a week out on BLM land. There are two MaxxAir fans on opposite ends of the roof, providing air flow on warm days. The three Van der Moon-brand Moon Box storage boxes provide ample storage for clothing and pantry items. The garage has a lot of storage for totes with a slide out for easy access. Flooring is ½ inch marine-grade plywood covered with waterproof vinyl plank flooring. Walls are double insulated with 3M Thinsulate Acoustic/Thermal insulation with Kilmat sound proofing underneath. The van interior is lined with maple plywood. All furniture is framed with 8020 extruded aluminum. The van has some dents and scratches. Tires are new. Front suspension is upgraded. Brakes were replaced less than 5,000 miles ago. The alternator is upgraded to a higher amperage model. I have never deferred maintenance and faithfully changed oil with regular oil every 3,000 miles. There is a Wolfbox backup camera installed that allows the driver to see behind the vehicle while driving. I designed the van to work with the Starlink Roam via a 12V cigarette plugin located at the back of the vehicle. We can discuss including this in the sale if you’re interested.
