Seller's Description
**In great mechanical condition: bill of good health from my Sprinter mechanic (Scott Wennersten, Santa Rosa) inspection 2/2025 and passed CA smog 3/2025** I am the second owner of this adventure ready, livable and LOVELY camper van, “the Olympia Florist”, and am only selling her because me and my partner just had a baby (and her seat-belted seats cannot accommodate 2 adults and a carseat, only 2 adults). I bought her in 2022 and lived in her locally full-time for a year, then took her all over the country. The previous owner also lived in her full-time before moving to New Zeland. He designed and custom-built her to provide all the comforts of a studio apartment while allowing for the storage of bikes, boards, and gear. She is an ex-FedEx cargo van without windows (other than her back door portal window by the bed), so looks fairly incognito for a camper van and gives you the ability to be equally comfortable sleeping in downtown SF or under the stars in the Mojave desert (she has done both). I think she is quite well designed, and living full-time in her is very comfortable. She also works great for weekend trips if that is more your speed. She is both an "old" vehicle and a non-professionally built camper, so you WILL have a different experience than a custom-built new Sprinter. I assume that is what you're looking for though if you've read this far down. She is a T1N (2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500)- a classic!- and has good bones. I think the ideal owner is someone who can troubleshoot quirks, maintain her, and is open to updating or upgrading her as they see fit. Typical for T1Ns of her vintage, the paint job is aging and could use a re-do. I have repatched and repainted the roof for functional reasons, but have not worried about external cosmetics (ex. the hubcaps could be overhauled). The electrical build charges phones, laptops and whatever else through a solar-powered, off-grid electrical system that also charges off of the van's alternator when she is driving. 3 AC power outlets feed off a 1200-watt inverter and another 6 quick-charge USB outlets handle everything else. The garage under the bed stores multiple boards or bikes, all the camping gear you could desire, and houses an on demand hot-water shower so you can rinse off or clean up after a hard day of play. Other amenities include propane heating for cold nights, ventilation fan in the kitchen/additional vent over the bed for good air circulation on hot nights, a completely odorless and externally vented composting toilet for your convenience (Nature’s Head), slide out dining table that seats 4, endless pantry and closet space. This camper van was built to be fully off-grid and incognito. You can camp in an official campground, or opt for flexibility in an urban space and camp wherever you please. The lack of exposure from windows means you can maintain privacy and flexibility no matter where you are.
