Seller's Description
Located in San Diego Selling my 2018 Ram ProMaster camper van. It’s got about 82,000 miles and has been really well taken care of. I’ve put a lot of time and money into getting it where I wanted it, both mechanically and in the build. It’s not brand new, but it’s solid, reliable, and ready to hit the road. Clean title. The front end has basically been rebuilt — new ball joints, control arms, tie rods, wheel bearings, the works. New factory shocks up front, Bilsteins in the back, and Sumo Springs on both ends for a smoother ride. It’s also got the Van Compass 1.5-inch lift in the front and brand-new KO2 tires on custom rims. Brakes are new too; the rears squeak every now and then but stop great. It drives tight and feels solid, handles great in all seasons since it’s front-wheel drive. It’s never been used as a delivery van — private owners only and always well maintained. Power setup is all brand new. It’s running 560 amp hours of lithium batteries and 720 watts of solar on the roof. It charges from solar, alternator, or shore power, so it’s completely off-grid capable. The 12-volt AC is super efficient and runs great between the batteries and solar — no problem keeping cool off-grid. Everything’s run through Victron gear so you can monitor your whole setup from your phone — charge rates, battery levels, solar input, all of it. There are outlets throughout the van and dimmable lights everywhere. The interior is fully insulated with swivel seats up front. It’s got a Webasto floor heater that runs off the gas tank, so you don’t have to deal with propane. There’s a sink and rear shower that run off electric pump, a fridge w small freezer, and a small fold-up table behind the driver’s seat with an extra seat there too. Custom wood cabinetry all around, a fixed rear bed with storage underneath, and the “garage” area under the bed has coin-style rubber flooring — perfect for storing bikes or gear. The main living area has new click-lock wood-style flooring that looks great and holds up well. The countertops could use a light sanding or refinish but it’s totally fine as-is. The windshield has a crack that is priced in accordingly. This van’s loaded and built to last. Between the rebuilt suspension, upgraded power system, and all the comfort features, it’s ready for full-time vanlife or weekend adventures. I built it to be reliable and self-sufficient — just hop in and go.
