Seller's Description
My beloved winterized camper-van is for sale! Makes a great ski-adventure van for 1 person. I lived in it solo for about one year, then bought an RV and no longer need this. I bought the van for $6,000 at 145,000, and put in over $13,000 in new parts and supplies. I believe that $16,000 is a fair price given all of the supplies and work that have gone into this, but feel free to make me an offer. (DISCOUNT PRICE at $12,000 for winter. If it's not sold by Spring, I'll finish the sink/kitchen and increase the price again.) Mileage: 153,500 Features: - Murphy bed with Purple Mattress (twin size) - RV style propane oven/cooktop - Sealed propane bin for 15lb. tank - Espar S2D2 heater (With the heater and insulation, I was easily able to keep the interior of the van at 70°F overnight with outside temps down to -20°F) - 65L Indel B 12v Refrigerator/Freezer - 200 AH 12v battery system - 30A Victron DC-DC Charger - 30A Victron AC-DC Charger - Convenient internal ski storage bin - Limo tint - Front wall/divider for privacy - Totally stealth - no roof vent or any external giveaways (besides the diesel heater exhaust) - Rockwool insulation on sides - 1” foam board insulation on roof - 1 and ½” foam board insulation on floor Mechanical: - Runs Great, no major issues - Drives great in the snow. This build is on the heavier side and provides great traction to the back wheels. I ran it with studded snow tires on the icy roads in Jackson, WY, and never had an issue getting up or down Teton Pass. The only issue I had was in deeper spring slush. - New thermostat (5000 miles) - New front ball joints (5000 miles) - New front rotors (5000 miles) - New front pads (5000 miles) - New Water pump (5000 miles) - New all season rear tires - Used set of studded winter tires if you want (3 seasons old) - This is a bi-fuel vehicle and has a CNG (compressed natural gas) tank as well as a gas tank. It can run on CNG, however, the CNG tanks have expired and I never got it fixed. Ran it on gas only. The dealership told me it may be expensive to repair the CNG tanks, but once you do it, this can run on CNG and you will save a lot of $ on gas. However, I’m not sure what dealerships in the US, if any, still work on these older CNG systems. Known Issues: - Consumes oil internally. I drove it for 8,000 miles and never had any issue, and I kept the oil topped off at every fill-up. The mechanics told me it isn’t an issue and to keep it topped off, rather than trying to chase around the internal issue. - The sink/kitchen is not finished. I have water lines, sink, water pump, water tanks, a faucet, and a butcher block slab ready to be installed in the van. I will include these supplies with the van if you want to finish it yourself. If the van doesn’t sell for a while, I might eventually get to finishing it, but will sell it for a higher price after that. - Front all season tires are getting worn and will need replacement soon. New rear tires already installed.
