Hi there! We are selling our beautiful camper van “Eddie”. This 2018 RAM Promaster was converted professionally by Luna Desings Ltd. Co. and has served us extremely well these last few years, including a 35,000 mile trip to visit all the mainland National Parks in 2024. Eddie has a lot of life left in her, but unfortunately for us it’s time to move on. ELECTRICAL: This is a propane free build. All components run off the electrical system - 4x 150 watts Renogy roof top solar (600 watts total) mounted to a custom aluminum roof rack - 2x 150 amp/hr lead acid AGM battery bank (300 amp/hr total) - 40 amp DC/DC charger (batteries charge from the solar panels and van alternator) - 40 amp Renogy solar charge controller with bluetooth module - 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter wired to the galley induction cooktop and galley outlet - USB outlet in galley and one on each side of bed - Dometic CFX55 IM fridge with ice maker (wonderful during hot desert days) - Brand new Duxtop Induction Cooktop, 200W-1800W - 2 zones of LED lights on the ceiling both with dimmer switches. - 12-speed MaxAir fan PLUMBING: - 22 gallon garage mounted fresh water tank with an exterior fill port on the drivers side of the the van - Plumbed to a Shurflo “on demand water pump” and accumulation tank - Super deep stainless steel sink with sprayer nozzle faucet - Clear, 6 gallon, removable grey water tank - Utility sprayer/shower in the garage - Brand new (never used) Campo casette toilet INTERIOR DETAILS: - Full set of custom, blackout window covers. These will keep your van dark, keep out the heat, and provide total privacy. - 5 kW diesel heater - Insulated with a combination of rigid foam and 3M Thinsulate - Kilmat sound insulation throughout - Primed and painted shiplap on walls - Treated cedar planks on ceiling - The bed size is between a king and a queen at 69″ wide x 73″ long. Bed is 7 inch memory foam - Custom built easy to operate futon-style bed-to-bench conversion for comfortable lounging - Passenger side swivel seat - Removable/adjustable Lagun tables - Custom made bug screens at the rear doors and sliding door (sliding door bug screen not pictured right now) EXTERIOR DEAILS: - Relatively new set of Toyo Open Country All Terrain A/T tires (about 5000 miles on them) - A total of 4 CR Laurence vented and screened windows installed throughout, wonderful for a cross-breeze - Roof access ladder, with recovery ramps mounted to ladder - Exterior mounted diesel fuel jerry can (plumbed to diesel heater) - Fresh top-of-the-line oil changes every 5000 miles DISCLOSURES: - The AGM batteries may be reaching the end of their lives. You can still use the electrical system succesfully to operate the lights, fan, and outlets for many days – provided you have a sunny spot – , but they may need to be replaced in the future (especially if you plan on using the induction cooktop vs. a portable propane stove – which we ended up using almost exclusively anyways) - There is an issue with the brake pad sensor, telling us that the brake pads need to be replaced. Everything has been checked professionally, the brake pads still have 5,000-10,000 miles on them. Replacing the sensor would fix the warning sign - Oil filter housing seals are leaking a little bit and may need to be replaced (not critical) - Outdoor thermometer is not accurately reporting the temperature RECENT SERVICE: - Oil change, 1000miles ago - Rear shocks just replaced - Wheel alignment - Professional maintenance inspection - The van has been well-taken care of, all records of maintenance and inspections are available The van is located in Walpole, MA but we can always arrange a pickup near Boston Logan Airport.
