Seller's Description
This conversion is titled/registered as a Motorhome in the state of Florida and insured by State Farm. The rear engine DT-466e Allsion MD3060 6-speed transmission couple cruises comfortably at 65 MPH all day long. I’ve never driven a bus before this one, and I’ve found this one a joy to drive. The 466e has an EGR, but no DPF. The full set of tires was replaced in 2022, and have maybe 3500 miles on them. Last trip completed Jan 2025. For practical off grid living in hot or cold temps, the current battery is a placeholder at best. It does not have its full 102 Ah capacity. There is an Anderson connector waiting for what you decide to put in. A double racked, 5 ft. closet with neighboring deep shelf storage and dual bins behind and shelves above the queen-sized bed is only part of the storage on this bus. There are also dedicated bathroom/misc. cabinets as well as upper and lower pantry. 12-inch-deep upper shelves line both sides of the kitchen, and even further options exist under the entire sofa and desk. The custom-built exterior door is made entirely of 5/4 shiplap Garapa, which is an extremely dense and heavy tropical hardwood. Locks and hinges are commercial stainless steel. Garapa requires no weatherproofing and has faded to gray on the outside, much like the cedar trim and frame around it. I always had an onboard copilot to assist with left turn visibility, so the door is solid. I’m happy to install a porthole window if it ends up being a deal braker for a serious buyer.
