This is a great vehicle ready for many more adventures. I was in the process of updating all of the systems to last another 10 years when I encountered an issue with Mercedes' diesel smog remediation. Mercedes had the vehicle for over 9 months and replaced the entire exhaust system and worked on it, but it appears there is a computer program error that they are unwilling to address. The long story made short is that I spent over 2 years tying to work out the situation with California B.A.R., CARB, and Mercedes, and was left with the option to pursue a costly civil lawsuit. Even though the smog tests show all sensors are clean (and it runs EXCELLENTLY), it will not pass smog. I have cried over this too much and must move on. Make my misfortune your gain! I'm broken-hearted that I can't continue to use this great vehicle, and I plan to relocate the vehicle to Texas in October if it isn't sold yet.
