Seller's Description
29000 miles. One owner. The vehicle was made in Germany and shipped to Winnebago to be outfitted for sale by VW in the US as a campervan. It is powered by a 2.8-liter 24 valve VR6 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. 131-inch wheelbase. Finished in Artic White with patterned gray cloth upholstery. The rear compartment features storage cabinets, a removable second-row seat, and a two-passenger rear bench that folds into a bed. A second bed platform with zip-open windows is housed in the pop top. A kitchenette includes a sink, refrigerator, and two-burner propane stove. Twelve-gallon water storage tank; residential style power outlet; lights in ceiling and the kitchenette; propane heating furnace. In front there are two captain’s chairs that swivel so that they can be used with the rear bench and a tabletop that attaches alongside the kitchenette. Other features include a front bra; a new, unused vehicle cover; a new spare tent for the pop top; and a receiver hitch. The vehicle has been regularly serviced, primarily at VW dealers. No major repairs. A CarFax Vehicle History Report and Experion AutoCheck Report are available, along with nearly complete maintenance records for the past 23 years. The following have been replaced: pop top struts, kitchen cover struts, all exterior side vent covers, the front cowling/luggage rack above the passenger compartment in front of the pop top. Both batteries (automotive and deep cycle) are relatively new. Please note: There is a crack on the side of the pop top near the front on the passenger side. This has been sealed. Exterior blemishes include scuffs on the right rear corner, damage to the pinch welds where the jack is to be placed, worn paint on the wheels, and some discoloring on the pop top tent. The tires have ample tread and passed inspection in March 2025, but they are 11 years old. In the past nine years, the van has not been used for camping, and the owner cannot vouch for the camping equipment as originally installed by Winnebago; however, the stove still fires up, the water pumps run and the lighting turns on. The vehicle itself has had regular automotive maintenance and been lightly driven (less than 5000 miles) during that time. The van was parked outside from 2002 to 2019 and parked in a garage from 2019 to 2014. For the past year it has been parked outside under a cover when not in use.
