Seller's Description

I have the most prestige rig and set up you will find for this price. 2014 Ram Promaster 1500 Off grid Campervan. Solid PERFECT engine, zero codes, off grid solar powered van, new off terrain tires, inside lighting, inside ceiling fan, insulated, ample storage, full sized bed, new fridge, vinyl floor, wood ceiling, original art decorated, 5 gallon foot pump sink. 145,000 miles. V6 engine, automatic drive. FWD. back up camera. Spare key. Paperwork of all its years previous fixes. Well maintained. I felt like it needed new brake pads and took it in. I learned the brakes are fine but they did a deep search and read and discovered the brake booster is functioning just below the accepted metrics. You can still drive it as is. The part is on back order for 3 months due to political issues so I can't fix this for you. It's $1,200 for part and installation. You'll have to bring it in and pay for the fix yourself. I just went to New Hampshire early January and feel safe to continue long distance drives. Also back connector in rear doors broke off from the door catching in the wind, which is just the part that tells the dash if the rear doors are closed or not. It says they’re open and without the signal you have to lock manually until fixed. It’s a $400 fix. Lastly, 3 rear lights are out on the roof of the van, the dash tells you to replace them. I didnt get the light fix estimated. $1600 total in repairs. Still passes state inspection as there are no codes read. And I inspected it with the door issue. ***Price is already lowered for these costs.*** do not ask to lower. I love this van but I want to build my own. Also, I just opened a book store and live on block island now, and I would like to see this van get its desired use. In addition I have done van life for 4 years. I want a bigger build for my family. I am solid on current price. It's been reduced by 6k already. Meet ups in Narragansett or Charlestown. I am ready to sell to someone who loves this van as is. The solar as of now only powers fridge and lights. I bought a Jackery for charging devices. I do have a dog if you are allergic. It’s a really beautiful home with so much adventure! Please acknowledge there is no shower. There is no compost toilet either. There is room to build space for a compost toilet, not a shower. If you’re searching for a vehicle to take continuous multi month road trips with, consider these things before asking me to view! I am glad people are shopping but again I live on an island right now, I don’t want to show people just shopping. Serious buyers only who see this exact van as is, along with the minor needed brake, door, and back light work with its given price, as the match for their desired use. I knew this was my van the second I saw it, I’m hoping the buyer holds this same energy. Also! A major fun fact it’s only been owned by women. The woman who built it was an artist in the US and drove full time around the country for years selling her art. The second owner was a girl in college hoping to travel with her boyfriend but they broke up before leaving. She sold it to who I bought it from who realized she was pregnant two weeks into travel. She owned it for 6. months and I bought it immediately after she posted it for sale. It’s been my sanctuary. I have had it for 9 months now and I lived in it full time while traveling New England state parks from May-October. I love the all women vibe. It’s giving sisterhood of the traveling van. You can clearly tell each owner has given her a lot of love. I’m not going to deny a male buyer but I sure would like it to continue to be a woman owned camper van :) No trades. As is.
