Seller's Description
Price: $14,000 (Van Only) Optional: +$7,000 for full Victron-based electrical system Selling my 2016 Ram ProMaster 2500 High Roof (gas engine, 159” wheelbase) with ~112,000 miles. This van is a partially converted camper — a great platform for a DIY build or off-grid adventure vehicle. Has hitch installed from U-Haul. I originally purchased this van in 2019 as a used plumbing van from a dealer and converted it into a camper. Later on, I transitioned it back into a work van while starting to update some of the cabinetry—full circle, you could say. We’re now selling it because we no longer need an extra vehicle and don’t plan to put more time or money into finishing it. Currently includes premium components such as windows, roof fan, and lighting. The Victron-based electrical system is optional — designed as a mostly self-contained, removable unit. Priced to reflect the van condition and needed repairs. Mechanical & Body Condition: - Engine runs strong, drives well - Professionally rebuilt transmission in 2024 ($4k+ in work, paperwork included) - Needs front brake service - Cracked front windshield - Driver-side window broken (window is non-functional with glass in frame. Glass broken at bottom where arm connects) - Horn not working - Backup camera sometimes blue screens - Rear marker light and fog light need replacement - Cosmetic wear and light dents/scratches typical of age - Body repair work completed before my purchase (see photos) - Spare tire included Built-Out Camper Features (Included): - 2x CLR awning windows with bug screens — already cut & installed - MaxxAir vent fan installed and wired - Roof-mounted solar panels pre-wired into cargo area - Wired 12V lighting throughout cargo space - Sirocco II 12/24V Gimbal Fan - Corian countertop with stainless steel sink and faucet (plumbing incomplete) - Some remaining cabinetry - Insulated floors and walls - Wood paneling on wall and ceiling - Split LVP plank in front and original rubber cargo mat in rear for hauling gear - Passenger seat swivel - Solar Panels Optional Electrical System (+$7,000) Mounted in a removable enclosed cabinet. Fully removable if desired. Includes: - Victron Multiplus 12v 2000W Inverter/Charger - Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 - Victron BMV-712 Battery Monitor w/ Bluetooth - Victron Digital Multi Control panel - Victron Lynx Power In System - Sterling Power 60A DC-DC charger (charges off alternator) - 2x Battle Born 100Ah 12V LiFePO4 Batteries - 2x 175W Monocrystalline Solar Panels - Cabinet with fuses, disconnects, and internal wiring - Bluetooth monitoring via VictronConnect - Serviceable layout with documentation - Dometic CRX-1080 RV fridge – 2.6 cu. ft. AC/DC (working, some cosmetic wear and missing bins) Note: Solar Panels will remain with the van. Why Buy This Van? - Avoid the hardest, most intimidating parts of a DIY build: cutting windows, vent install, solar prep, and electrical design - Modular Victron system makes off-grid living simple and reliable - Excellent platform for finishing the interior your own way - Ideal for vanlifers, remote workers, overlanders, tradespeople, or weekend explorers looking for a project van Title in hand. Serious inquiries only. No Trades.
