Seller's Description
2015 Ford Transit connect camper build with a full coverage transferable warranty for the next three years or 120k miles. Howdy! Selling my 2015 Transit Connect mini camper. I have LOVED this van and I am only selling to buy a larger van for more full time living. Here’s the Van highlights: Only 85,000 miles, bought last year with 43,000 miles. The van has only been in New England for a year, she’s from Florida, so no rust. Getting 27.5 MPG with the awning and roof box (both of which are included!) Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires with plenty of tread left. Synthetic oil changes every 5k Everything up front works as it should, includes aftermarket dashcam/carplay Nice tinted front windows to help with privacy No rips or tears in the front seat, no lights on dash, everything works as it should Curt 2 inch hitch installed on the back with a bike rack (for e bikes and up to 150lbs) (you can also tow up to 1500lbs) 8x6 awning with all the ropes and tiedowns YAKIMA - RocketBox Pro Ladder rack roof bars and plenty of space for a paddleboard or surfboard on the roof Clean title in hand UNDER A TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARS OR UNTIL 120K MILES! $500 deductible for any major repairs, did a lot of research and paid over 2k for it. Confirmed transferable. Now for the build: (this is the XLT version, I am 6'2 and have plenty of space without moving the front seats) Insulated with foamboard/reflectix and rockwool in the walls Simple setup with a couch bed combo (it’s a twin mattress cut into two pieces) Porthole in the back with thumb screws (makes for AMAZING airflow) 12v rooftop fan with remote and rain sensor (auto open and close) Tiny sink with 2.5 gal fresh water and 2 gallon grey water Mini flip up table Small LED lights with remote For power, it has the Delta 2 from ecoflow with an 800w alternator charger. This was plenty of power to use my laptop and run the fan for multiple nights. A simple setup, but works fantastic. This system can also run backwards to recharge the car battery. The battery has less than 100 cycles on it. Things to note: There’s a good amount of goop/tape on the roof, no leaks anywhere but it might take a day of scrubbing to get it all off. I used to have solar on the roof, but the flexible panels failed early on (note, never buy flexible solar). The previous owner also must have had something taped. There are two small surface chips on the windshield. The porthole needs a bug screen, and will let in water if you leave it open in the rain. There’s a few scuffs/tears on the vinyl floor (its a roll on floor) The bed frame is a little beat up, but still works just fine This is not a professionally done build, but it is ready for an epic adventure as is, or you can make the build even better. I will keep driving it so the milage will go up slightly. DRIVE TO MEXICO TOMORROW AND GO SURF! If anything wild does happen, you have a warranty and for $500 max, you are back on the road! Thanks! Dave
