Seller's Description
2003 Chevy Astro AWD CLEAN TITLE. If it’s still up it’s available. It's an old van with squeaks and quirks but It has been taken care of and has lots of life left. These things are known to go 300k+ miles. I bought this van from the second owner about a year ago. He changed it from a flower shop cargo van into the adventure van it is today. He had most of the fuel injection system replaced. I've been using this as an adventure van to Baja Mexico, Oregon, California, all round southern Utah, and a mobile snowboarding cabin. It has never failed me. It has lived most of its life inside a garage so minimal rust. There’s been more than $8,000 in mechanical work over the past 2 years (I have receipts). About 2 years ago the previous owner replaced the: Spark plugs Fuel injector spider Spark plug wires Pcv valve Fuel filter Fuel pump Regular oil changes and coolant flush The former owner said that all work was done professionally by jones car care. I have all receipts. They also performed a compression test. The engine is great. No slip in the transmission. I have replaced within the last year: All four brakes, calipers, and rotors. Distributor Idle air control valve Regular oil changes Brake fluid flush and replace. Wheel bearing Serpentine belt All the work I’ve had done was professional at Master Auto Tech, and I have all the receipts. Regular oil changes have been done and the vehicle has been well maintained. There is a minor power steering fluid leak, but it hasn’t affected drivability. It runs and drives great. The tires are A/T bf goodies with about 40% life left or about 20k miles left. This thing does amazing in snow and ice, I've been driving it up the cottonwoods with ease. I've avoided lifting the van in order to preserve some gas mileage, you can easily get a couple more inches out of the turn keys. I get about 15-18mpg. The build is simple and well done. Insulated all the way around. Recarpeted the cab. Aluminum moldings. Birch Walls Pull out bed, close to the size of a full 100ah lithium battery 100 watt panel and charge controller 500 watt inverter Water pump and a FULL SINK, no rinky dink sink, and it doubles as an outdoor shower. 6 gallon water and grey water tanks. 6 puck lights. Rooftop air fan. THULE ROOF BOX included and its huge. I put in a brand new Diesel heater, and the best part is its self contained on the exterior of the van so that no fuel runs in the vehicle. 9.4k obo 172k miles Only selling so I can move on to a Tacoma camper build.
