Seller's Description
FOR SALE is a 2019 Ford Transit Connect XLT converted into a camper van. $25,000 OBO. It has 157,300 miles but a new OEM transmission installed less than 2,000 miles ago, so it’s got a ton of life left in it. 8-speed automatic transmission, 4cyl 2.0L engine, and FWD. Clean title, no accidents, and very well-cared for. Gets excellent mileage for a campervan - I average 27 or 28 mixed highway/town. The van is in overall excellent condition with no mechanical, electrical, or other issues aside from a single faulty TPMS sensor. Exterior is near-perfect with just a couple tiny dings in the paint. Tires and brakes both still have decent life left in them. Comes with roof rails installed, a 2” Curt rear hitch, and cables for the front wheels for driving in severe snow and ice. The rear has two sliding doors (one of which has a window) on the sides and barn doors with windows in the rear. Drives great, has an 8” screen with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, and an excellent audio system. AC unit was fully replaced at 125k miles and works perfectly. The campervan conversion includes wood flooring, a pine shiplap interior, wool insulation, a maple countertop, a sink with 6L water tank, and a recessed EcoFlow Delta 1000 power station that powers dimmable LED lights, a ceiling fan unit, and USB/110AC outlets. It is outfitted with wiring to connect a roof-mounted solar panel to charge the power station (no solar panel is currently installed though). It’s also wired to charge off the alternator via the rear 12V outlet, and includes a standard 110AC plug for rapid charging from a standard outlet / shore power. There is a twin bed with memory foam topper that folds up into a couch (I’m 5’11” and can sit super comfortably on the couch without being cramped by the ceiling height) when not in sleep mode. The pine bed frame is extendable to cover the whole floor area when in sleep mode, or collapses into itself for couch mode. There are a number of storage options, including shelving above and under the sink, ceiling compartments above the driver and passenger seats, sub-floor compartment space (about 1/3 of this is taken up by the EcoFlow battery), and under-bed storage that is designed to allow standard storage boxes to slide in through the rear. Magnetic window shades and divider curtains are dark blue fabric that provides great privacy. Comes with a small wall-mounted portable heater. Also includes a small electric kettle currently set up to run off the van’s 12V system but can also run off the battery station. It’s a home-grown camper conversion that’s space efficient, cute, and super functional. It’s great for camping trips, van life, and exploring! Only selling because we’re moving back East and our lifestyle won’t allow us to get good use out of it anymore.
