Vehicle Information: 1983 GMC G3500 (1 ton) Vandura, 4x4 (Pathfinder conversion) This is a turnkey camper van ready to go on camping excursions, including off-grid. It’s equipped with a Chevy 350 V8 gas engine with Vortex heads, a 4 bolt crankshaft, a roller cam, and one-piece rear seal. The engine currently has 19,000 miles on it. The rest of the vehicle has 119,000 miles on it. The drive shafts were completely rebuilt in 2021. The tie rods and front-end steering parts were rebuilt in 2018. The carburetor is an Edelbrock 1405 with a manual choke. The transmission is a TH400 Turbo-Hydramatic. The 4x4 conversion is a Pathfinder, with a NP205 transfer case, Dana 44 front axle with manual locking hubs, and a GM 14 bolt rear differential. The transfer case was rebuilt in 2021. It has a 40-gallon fuel tank, a 12 gallon fresh water tank, and a 12 gallon grey water tank. It also has one front brush guard with an off-road LED light bar and a Hi-Lift jack, five exterior incandescent lights, a rear cargo door mounted spare tire, a trailer hitch, and two side access steps. It has new Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain 245/65/17 tires. Also recently replaced were the fan belts, radiator, water pump, heater core, alternator, and starter. It also has a recent tune-up with a new cap, rotor, sparkplugs, and plug wires. The only item not working is the AC. It needs recharging. Maintenance records have been documented. INTERIOR The interior contains an Indel TF86 12V DC refrigerator, a small kitchen area vanity and countertop with a sink, a large custom-made rear storage cabinet that also functions as a table, a custom-made bench seat with three fabric covered foam cushions, which folds down into a double sized bed. There's additional storage space under the bench seat/bed. It is also equipped with a Thetford Porta Potti. The interior walls, ceiling, and doors of the van are insulated with Havelock insulation. The flooring is Allen Roth Laminate with ¼" rubber padding underneath. The ceiling planks are Cedar V-Planks. All the windows have custom made blackout curtains, and there's an additional blackout cover for the front driving/passenger area. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The van electrical system is a standard 12V DC charged by the alternator. SOLAR SYSTEM The solar system consists of a Bluetti AC200 Solar Generator and four 100-watt Rich Poly solar panels mounted on the roof of the van. The Bluetti AC200 Solar Generator powers the 12V DC refrigerator, water pump, exhaust fan, and interior LED lights in the cargo compartment. A 115V AC charging cord for the Bluetti AC200 is located inside the access door on the driver’s side of the vehicle. This is a beautiful rig and ready for new adventures with a new owner.
