Dream to drive 2014 Mercedes Sprinter camper (2500 170WB Cargo 3dr Ext van/High Roof 2.1L 4cyl Turbodiesel 7A) with 6’3” head room. We are the only owners, no accidents, all maintenance done by dealer, with super low 39,800 miles on it. We bought this new in December of 2013 and as a General Contractor and carpenter converted it into a camper with the intentions of using after retirement. We love the van life and this is the 5th camper we’ve built. We are in our eighties and due to some health issues our plans changed, so it is time to let it go to it’s next adventurer. This interior is configured with fold-up twin beds, so is perfect for either solo, couple, or buddy travels, and with solar capacity it’s ready for those off-grid situations. Food prep is easy with a deep sink in a counter with flip-up extension, under counter refrigerator, a new microwave and portable convection plate. There is under bed as well as over-head storage and a large back compartment for equipment and hanging locker, A/C window unit, and the ability to reconfigure easily for personal preferences. There is a discrete home-made compost toilet for those times you are not in campgrounds. Everything is lightly used, the 30’ shore cable is still in it’s wrapper, and the 10’ telescopic ladder is brand new. The van is in great shape, no rust although there are a few dents that are so shallow we’d have to point them out. New brakes at 36,000 miles. The check tire pressure dash light sometimes displays, dealer says it’s a $20 battery in pressure sensor inside the tire - but they have to take it off then rebalance them all so I just use the shut-off button on the steering wheel and live with it! Routinely gets 24mpg – but we’ve had some 28mpg journeys. Of course being a van it is easy for getting around in both city and country situations. And did we mention it drives like a Mercedes!
