2016 Promaster 159’ WB Extended. Amateur build with lots of thought and high end materials put in. We purchased the van in 2022 with 330,000 miles on it and replaced the engine. Current engine has approximately 85,000 miles on it. The van runs well and has taken us all over the west coast, but we’ve been having issues with the emissions system. Current engines codes are related to the emissions system and don’t impact the ability to drive. The price reflects the issues it has. The quirks: The DEF tank sensor is out and has a countdown on the dash for when it needs to be filled, but never actually counts down. We just keep track of when we put DEF in so we know when we’re actually running low. Current engine code indicates “Lost connection with the PM Sensor”. We just replaced the PM sensor with a brand new one, the code is still there. Possible fix could be engine software update Random Turbo code P00AF once every few thousand miles which limits your speed until you restart.
