Seller's Description
Key Features: •Reliable Engine: Regular oil changes, always passes emissions, with documentation; she’s always been mechanically sound and gets comments regularly about how beautiful her engine looks for her age! •Camper Conversion: Professionally converted from Ram Wagon to High Top camper by a California company, Hermann Outfitters, in 2021/2022 - sold to the person we bought it from in Denver, CO. She purchased it and then got an opportunity to leave the country and had to sell it in order to move. •Solar Power System: Equipped with solar panels, allowing for off-grid adventures and powering essential amenities. •Water System: Includes a sink with running water, can connect to camp site water systems or can fill up water tank under sink. Making meal prep and clean-up a breeze. •Refrigerator: Keeps your food fresh and drinks cold, essential for long trips. •Portable Toilet (never used): Convenient and private, adding comfort to your travels. •Tinted Windows: On back windows •Ceiling Fan & Lights: Run on solar power! •Back Up Camera: Included for safety •Table Converts to Bed: Play cards, Eat meals, Convert for Sleep (makes a great dog bed while driving)! AC: Works for the driver and passenger while driving. Current Condition: While The Dude has been a reliable companion, she does have a few needs: •Rear Leak: There’s a persistent leak in the back of the van. See photos of back area/wood which is affected. We attempted to seal the leak with roof sealer paint (that’s why its top is gray now), but the leak remains because we aren’t particularly handy. This has affected the sleeping foam which will need to be replaced-blankets from original conversation included and foam specs provided/$100-$200 foam cost replacement). Comes with a van cover included as well that we recently purchased to protect her ($250 value). •Oil Consumption: On longer drives, she requires oil top-offs every few hours. We primary took her on short trips up north, perfect for spontaneous trips! •Dashboard Electrical Quirk: Occasionally, the dashboard display will turn off and then back on while driving. Mechanics have advised that it’s not a critical issue, but it’s important to keep track of your fuel levels, as the gauge may temporarily be unavailable. •Paint Condition: The exterior paint is chipping in several areas, offering a perfect opportunity for a new owner to personalize her appearance and make her uniquely your own! Cassette Player: Cassette player doesn’t work, but the radio does. We typically used a portable speaker for tunes! We’re not particularly handy or have the time to invest in maintaining the hobby anymore, if we were in a different place in life we’d love to keep her. It’s important to us that “The Dude” finds a new owner who can give her the love and care she needs to continue the adventures she was built for. Additional Details: •Delivery: Willing to transport; would love one last trip with our girl! Travel deposit required based on location. “The Dude” isn’t just a camper van; she’s a vessel of memories, love, and countless adventures. If you’re someone who sees the charm in a well-loved van and has the skills to address her needs, she could be the perfect companion for your journeys ahead. Happy to share original posting photos, maintenance records, as well as videos of the van with any serious buyer. ⸻ Let us know if you’re interested or have any questions. We’re eager to see “The Dude” continue her journey with someone who will cherish her as much as we have.
