Seller's Description
2014 Roadtrek SS Agile / Mercedes Sprinter with over $20k in recent upgrades and maintenance Super van at a great price. It’s like having a tiny apartment on wheels - all amenities, plenty of storage, seat belts for 5 and can sleep up to 5 with use of front Cabbunk! Upgrades: - Agile Off-road STS (stop the sway) kit - tuned Fox shocks in the rear with Agile Off-road anti sheer upper shock mounts (a must if you want to leave the pavement with your Sprinter and not break a stock shock mount) + upgraded Bosch front struts - Black Rhino 18x8 wheels with BFG AT2 275/60/18’s - Agile Off-road spare tire carrier with matching full size 5th wheel and tire (rotated in regularly) - Brand new Kenwood stereo and new rear camera - Peddle control - smooths turbo lag and has anti theft functions - Front seats have been professionally redone with a custom sporty design and more durable material than the original ultra-suede. Both are heated w/ lumbar support plus seat bases have matching covers. - New heavy duty side and rear magnetic bug screens from the Wanderful - New kitchen and bath faucets Maintenance Updates: - New turbo and resonator - New DEF injector - Front end work - lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends replaced - Alignment - Power steering flush and hose replacement - Brake fluid flush - New heated windshield - Replaced main battery - Rear differential oil replacement - Lower radiator hose replace and system bleed - Engine air filter and cabin filter replaced - Mercedes Sprinter emissions update / fix performed Other details: - 5 belted seats, which is rare in a van this size but was essential for us as a family of 4 (the addition of a Cab-Bunk front bunk bed system allowed us to sleep 4). - We’ve had high 16’s to nearly 20 mpg ave on long trips (at highway speeds +/-), and 16 to 17 mpg in town on ave - Diesel engine commonly lasts 300-500k (2 to 3x longer than gas)(the reason why diesel engine mileage isn’t taken into account in NADA and Blue Book values). - The interior lives like a tiny apartment rather than like a garage - Plenty of cabinet storage include small closet for hanging (some add interior shelves but we’ve found it handy for always having some coats and cloths always there, ready to go) - Dometic 2 burner LP stove with cover - Kitchen sink w/ fold down faucet and cover - Convection microwave - Stone kitchen counter - 32 gallon water tank - 5 gallon LP water heater - 300 watts of solar with 1000 watt inverter - Updated Dometic Penguin II roof a/c - Onan LP generator with low hours (would need tuning for high altitude use over about 5400 ft) - Electric compressor fridge/freezer (simple, works great, and no leveling or problematic LP lighting needed, plus no huge vents cut out of the side of the van) - Expandable toilet/shower - Black and grey tanks are on a macerator pump making it simple to dump, even if you have to pump up hill or into a portable tank (the only way to have a black tank in my opinion) - Rear couch quickly makes into an RV short king and a custom panel allows couch to be set up in an L shape which makes for a great family room space for lounging. The van an a pleasure to drive and gets compliments wherever we go (people often assume it’s a newer model). Were sad to see it go, but down the road we would definitely consider getting another one.
