Seller's Description

My wife and I built this vehicle in 2020 and have used it both as for weekend camping and long vacation road trips. Our family is changing and it's time to sell the van. It stays nice and cool in the summer due with the climate controlled fan and full insulation. The integrated heater makes it awesome for ski trips and winter camping. It is front-wheel drive so it handles snow great! Unlinke most campers, this van has a TON of open floorspace so it can be used for different things, depending on the trip. Lots of potential to customize it your own way! We've maintained and serviced this vehicle really well since we've had it. Never deferred items and always replaced parts as they've started to wear. NOTE/FAQ: This is a 2 passenger cargo van. The rear seat in the picture is not intended for passengers, it is not NHSTA crash test rated. There are not airbags in the back. This will be true for all conversions you look at, not just this listing. It is insurable, despite what some internet people say. I have it insured as a 2 passenger cargo van with state farm. You can also purchase AAA for it. Wheelbase: 136" Length of bed (going east west across van): 74" Width of bed (going north south in van): queen Max standing headroom: 73.5" height of driver seat to headliner: 39.5" Air Conditioning: The VAN airconditioner works fine. It does not have a standalone RV airconditioner. Highlights - TONS of space to haul bikes/skis & camping gear. - Queen size mattress with 5" of memory foam to sleep great - Fits bikes, skis, dogs, 30 bags of mulch, or whatever you need under the bed - Heater that runs with the engine off - stay warm for ski trips or winter camping - Fully insulated so it stays cool in the summer, warm in the winter - Upgraded stereo system- door speakers and mini-sub BUILD The framing and cabinets are all attached with bolts and riv nuts so it is completely serviceable and very strong. Many builds you'll see use cheap self-tapping screws and glue which loosen over time, we used all rivnuts where connecting to the van structure and building the interior. Below are details of the build out: - Fully finished interior with fixed QUEEN size bed on plush memory foam mattress. - Solar AND engine charging for battery (currently 1x 150w panel on the roof, room to add more) - Fridge with energy efficiency condensor - Maxxair fan that can run even when it rains - Heater - Diesel heater that runs off a standalone fuel tank for ski trips and cold weather - Fully insulated - 1" polyiso isulation all around the inside with rockwool insulation for hard to reach places - 2 bunk windows in the back that open to circulate air: One is an awning window to open if it's raining, the other is a slider for max air movement. - LED lighting on dimmer switches - Swivel front seats (both seats!) SERVICE HISTORY Majority of the maintenace has been done at Ram dealers, with some items done at select independent mechanics. Last year we did a large service at 110,000 miles to update many aging and wearing components. - New Rear wheel bearings (80k) - New Rear brakes (90k) - Spark plugs (100k) - New front brakes, pads & rotors (105k) - Rear shocks (105k) - Oil Pan & gasket replaced (105k) - CV axles & shaft bearing (105k) - New transmission (105k) - Lower control arms & bushings (107k) - Replaced parking brake system (107k) - New Oil cooler, Radiator, intake plenum, head, belts & pulleys, thermostat, engine air filter, air intake pipe, cabin air filter (110k) - Tires, wildpeak AT3W 3-peak mountain snowflake (111k) Quirks (full disclosure) - The passenger turn signal thinks it is out, but it is not. It still works normally, the dashboard just thinks it is out. - The driver side mirror does not power fold. I had to replace it this year and unfortunately bought one is not power folding, it is power adjustable. - The AC button is sticky, just has to be pushed a few times. That's it! We will continue to use it until it's sold so the mileage will slowly creep up. Email: [contact info removed]
