2005 Ford E350 Camper Van w/ DIY Cabover Hightop

Seller's Description

This 2005 Ford E350 Super Duty is a DIY camper van with a custom 36" overcab hightop. The interior allows standing room, while the overcab hightop provides comfortable sleeping for two adults in the 74" x 60" bunk. The van has had only three owners since it was new starting with a plumbing contractor in Texas and then two different nomads who used it as a camper van. The custom hightop was added last year and has been driven thousands of miles in all conditions (including 60+ mph wind). This van is fully equipped with solar electric, a SetPower Dual Zone 12 Volt Fridge, and a diesel heater. The solar electric includes 400 Watts of Renogy rigid panels on the roof, a Renogy Rover 40 Amp solar charge controller, two 100 Ah lithium batteries (new last fall), and a Renogy 1000 Watt inverter. Numerous 12 Volt and USB outlets are installed in the van. This van is a high-mileage vehicle with 298,400 on the odometer. As far as I know, the engine is original. The transmission has been replaced twice with the most recent transmission installed 5-6 years ago at a transmission shop in Tucson, Arizona. Many maintenance records are included with the van going back to the first owner. This van is not perfect, but it is a solid running camper van. Over the years that I have owned this van it has traveled to all four corners of the continental US and just about everywhere in between. We drove the van more than 1,000 miles each way to and from the desert over the winter and it is still being used as a daily driver in Wyoming. Some of the not-perfect details of this van are a few computer codes (it runs great, details in our tour video), minor body damage, and a cracked windshield. It is also due for new shocks.
