I consider this my 'mobile tent' & can carry the minimal toys I take along on camping/road trips. From BC to Baja, from PNW to the Keys & everywhere in between without incident... we have covered some ground!! All terrain tires have good life left; included studded snow tires probably have two winter seasons remaining. Some rust needs tending BUT she is mechanically sound & had the required-by-MB emission upgrade recently (still uses DEF). Great as is, maybe continue on with a more custom build, great if you want to peel back & start from scratch...she is solid & has taken me safely on some crazy roads without 4WD.
