Seller's Description
Hi there! I am selling my custom built 2018 Ram Promaster. It was bought as a stock work van from the original owner with 95k miles (via a dealer), who had used it to move furniture but took good care of it. A comprehensive build was done (exhaustive details and photos of the whole process available for ya), with the final pieces of furniture being removable and ready to customize for the next owner. This van can be lived in immediately as-is, or easily upgraded with the build of a sink setup or a different kitchen setup. It currently has a 3-person bench seat up front, but included in the sale is a single seat that can be swapped in if you wanted to open up the front. Mechanically problem-free and all maintenance has been stayed on top of for the life of this van with comprehensive records. In short, the bones are solid, the build is complete, and it was built to be easily modified to suit your specific individual needs. Cab Upgrades: Sound system and head unit with a larger screen upgraded and subwoofer installed, rear view mirror and front+rear dash cam installed, cruise control (Rostra) installed, USB quick charge ports installed. Single passenger seat not installed, but purchased and included in sale to swap with the bench seat. Exterior upgrades: Unaka Roof rack w/ 2x Renogy 200w solar panels (currently wired in parallel), Maxxair (7500) roof fan, Yakima Road Shower (10gal), New tires, front + rear. Build: (from outside to inside) Kilmat sound deadening, Insulation (floor (2 layers minicell), walls (3M Thinsulate), ceiling (3M Thinsulate + EZ-Cool reflect layer), wall panels of cabinet-grade birch plywood. Furniture: Bed (60x75", tempur-pedic memory foam mattress, height set to fit bikes underneath), Sprinter Swivel Soft Cabinet clothing storage, Wood bench seat/gear storage, Kitchen countertop with 4 sliding cabinets (w/ hardwood pecan top). Bench seat and kitchen countertop/cabinets are built to be removed and replaced with any custom setup you want to build. Electrical: Goal Zero Yeti 1500x (charges via solar and alternator with Yeti Link Vehicle Integration Kit), 12v Blue Sea Systems fuse box, 2 Acegoo gooseneck bed lights, 4 Acegoo puck recessed lights, warm, colored LED wall/ceiling soffit strips, fridge (Dometic CFX3 55IM), shore power exterior plug (NOCO). Accessories: Window covers (VanEssential, full set), portable AC unit (needs shore power to run), snow chains (Konig XG-12 Pro), plus a bunch of extra leftover building materials, engine fluids, and other small things. Gas consumption: On the highway Promasters of this era do great. Best highways speeds for the mpg sweet spot is 65-70mph - you get approx 19 mpg on highway at these speeds. 75+mph brings you down to 17 mpg or so. In the city MPG is around 15-17 mpg. If you don’t install the Yakima Shower, you will probably gain a bit extra MPG. Many more photos showing build and construction and other interior angles, dimensions, maintenance history, etc... all available to serious buyers. I am excited to find this van a new home! It has treated me so well with 0 problems across 30k miles and four cross-country drives in the past three years. It is an incredible urban "stealth" van, great at some light off-road adventuring, lived in full time or as a weekender, and ready to be used as-is or lightly customized to suit your exact needs without starting from scratch!
