Seller's Description
Selling my 2005 Chevy Astro for $7500 OBO Great weekender for 2 people, but if living on the road it's really good for only one person. The bed slides out to a twin/full size bed with storage underneath. Has a Renogy solar set up with two 100w panels, a 60amp Charge Controller, and 1000W inverter. Has a single 100ah gel battery. The charge controller and inverter are brand new (charge controller is way better than what is needed for this system, I installed wiring that is rated for the charge controller so it's set up to upgrade the solar with a larger inverter and extra battery if you want - space is the biggest constraint from doing so however) All of the solar equipment is behind the driver seat, has a removable lid to access if needed. Since 2020 it has had: - new catalytic converter - new O2 sensors - new crankshaft sensor - new engine crankshaft seal - new main bearing oil seal - new R&I transmission assembly and flywheel - new Universal Joint - new front and rear bumpers - new spark plugs, distributor cap & rotor - new water pump and timing cover - new front sway bar links - new brakes and rotors - new oil pressure switch - new oil pan gasket Current issues: - AC condenser has a leak and needs to be replaced. I bought it like that in 2020 and just lived without the AC - floating check engine light on O2 sensor. This has been an ongoing issue, I've replaced the O2 sensors, it has a new cat and everything else but something is up either with wiring or with the MAF. It comes and goes, but it won't pass an emissions test if it's on. - Rust, the van definitely has some rust around and needs a little TLC. It has been sitting a lot these last couple years. I've been holding on to it because I love it and have had so many great memories living on the road for all of 2020. But I hardly use it anymore and it deserves a better home and better care with someone who will get the most out of it. I've put a ton of work in it - I did the whole build-out myself and can talk about all the tips and tricks needed for living and camping in it. *Added toilet as an amenity - if you look at the camping photo with the chair, there's a small box used as an outdoor table. Inside that box is a marine portable toilet. It slides out and is great. I used it for emergency use only.
