1997 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper for sale. It's been owned by the same family since 2012. Used primarily for summer trips in the Smokey Mountains and winter ski trips in the West Virginia highlands. Most recent trip was in February 2025. Major upgrades and recent repairs include: -Suspension Lift & Level Kit (Go Westy) -Added 16 inch tires and wheels, 16 inch spare kit -New LP tank -Yakima Roof Rack, track and tower system, round cross bars -Used the same mechanic for all service since purchasing in 2012 -New driver door handle in preparation for the sale. The van starts, runs, and drives great. The interior and exterior are clean, and the plumbing and electrical systems are all functional. There are some blemishes inside and out, consistent with a 30-year-old van, and it modest rust on the body (lower door panels) and underside. Here is an overview of other known issues: -Transmission will need to be rebuilt in the next few years depending on use -Tent screen is torn in two places, new pop-up supports needed, -Needs audio system installed, speaker all functional -Van requires a lot of coolant in the winter when running main heat -Norcold fridge does is functional but inefficient -Weather seals need to be replaced/re-adhered (although vehicle is still water-tight)
