Seller's Description

Completed this build in about 2.5 months, all on my own. While it isn't perfect, it has a ton of character and has a cozy, cabin vibe. The van was previously part of a fleet of vans at the ranch that I manage. The van was very well taken care of, mostly used as an airport transport vehicle to pick up and drop off our guests before I bought it. I put about 10k miles on it this winter while I was living in it. This was only ever going to be a one winter thing for me, and I've decided to sell now before my season starts at the ranch. The layout is pretty simple - fixed bed with storage underneath, bed is at a height that I (5'7") could sit on comfortably without my head hitting the ceiling. I could lay diagonally and be fully stretched out and comfortable to sleep. The bed platform has a hinge in the center and opens for access in the front and back. Very large pullout drawer under the bed. Rear storage has 3 semi-separate areas, easy access for outdoors equipment from the back. One of the rear doors and one of the side doors have a folding table. The cabinet for the water tank is accessible from the side door for easy access. Passenger seat is on a swivel. I rarely used this for myself, but if you have more than one person it will be much more functional than it was for me. Here are a few of the highlights and notable things about the van: • Bluetti AC240 battery - 250w portable solar panels, and the 500w Bluetti Charger 1 alternator charger. I rarely needed to use the panels, and would get most of the charging I needed from driving. • BougeRV 30l fridge - Single zone, but can be used as a freezer if desire. Fridge is on a slide out drawer in the main living space. • Chinese Diesel Heater - This thing worked great. I had my reservations going the budget route, but never had any issues with it whatsoever. Camped a few nights in single digits and stayed plenty warm, didn't need to run it continuously. Heater has a remote, which is nice to be able to turn on without getting out of bed. Set an alarm, turn on the heater, hit snooze, and boom-the van is warm when you wake up again. • MaxxAir Fan - I can't remember the model number. It's not the deluxe, doesn't have a remote, has 4 speeds, gets the job done. • Deep Sink w/ hand pump faucet. Having the deep sink was great for doing dishes and for extra storage. Removable 5 gal water tank. • Insulated with Havelock wool. Van is insulated well enough that I usually wouldn't turn the heater on unless it dipped below freezing, and even then, I'd usually run it for a cycle before bed and be good for the night. • Floor is also insulated with the Havelock, a layer of subfloor, and kitchen grade padded LVP planks. • Ceiling is 1/4 in cedar planks. Still smells like cedar too. • Plenty of storage - two overhead cabinets over the bed that I used mostly for clothes and some outdoor equipment, another overhead cabinet behind the drivers seat (used for food), two big pull out drawers, lots of counter space for working, writing, cooking, etc. • Homemade insulated window covers. Used the havelock wool, reflectix, and duck cloth with a cool geometric pattern. The stitching is fraying a little on a few of them but overall still in working order. • Heavy blackout curtains separating the cab from the living area. • 6 recessed puck lights on a dimmer switch. • I mounted a heavy duty iphone clamp to the dash, and there is a plate mounted to the ceiling with a friction arm that I used to attach lights, camera or action camera, iphone, etc. . Can easily be removed if you don't need it, but won't be in your way. • I got about 16mpg while living in it this winter. • Tires are in great shape, they were new in May 2024, and there is a spare under the van. • New windshield wipers. • A few small dings around the van, nothing major or super noticeable, and one of the hubcaps has a dent in it (one of our fishing guides backed into the rocks that separate the parking spots at the ranch). • No issues with anything mechanical on the van, everything is in excellent working condition. • Rear wheel drive. I did get stuck once in soft sand at Lake Mead, the fault was mine not the vans. • High enough clearance to get over rocks and ruts when going slowly to get to those choice campsites. ***Editing a "tour" video now, will be uploaded in the next couple days. I have a few videos on my YouTube already from my travels that show some aspects of the van. [contact info removed]
