Seller's Description
2003 Freightliner Sprinter 140 Dually converted to off grid camper with ~184,000 miles. Most of camper build was done in Seattle, where the van lived until June 2023. It has not been used in the winter here in the East. Without solar, this van can be used for multiple days off-grid. Add solar and you could stay in one place for weeks. We are only selling because we have decided to get something bigger. This van is peppy and ready for your weekend or multi-week trips. Recent electrical upgrade including 400Ah Renogy Lithium battery, Victron Lynx Distributor, Victron Multiplus 12/3000/120-50 inverter/charger with Victron Energy Digital Multi Control, shore power, 12V usb ports and 110V AC outlets, and new distribution panel/fuse box. We had planned to install an induction cooktop in the countertop so there is a second A/C line in place. 19-23 mpg, depending on speed, terrain and wind. (6) New General Grabber HD Van All Season tires installed 8/25/2023 at 169,000 miles. Van was taken to Dr. A (Andy Bittenbinder, the guru of t1n Sprinters) in SC for servicing, including treatment of (early) black death on #1 cylinder in Feb 2024 at 172,000 miles, and received a clean bill of health.
