Seller's Description

Sending off my beloved van off to have new adventures. I built her myself from scratch to live in full-time for at least 5 years. I poured so many pandemic dollars and hours into her, to make her feel like a really nice, cozy apartment on wheels. Asking $45,000. I'm flexible for the right person! She's got two "rooms" with half-walls so you can walk through her but have some privacy from anyone else you're sharing space with. Lots of considerations about where things are mounted so that you don't have to fold in half or climb over anything to live your life. All her storage is easily accessible from the inside. Custom slide-out twin-ish size bed and a couch/daybed, a little dog bed, 20 gal each of fresh and graywater, a propane cooktop, a fridge, sink, cassette toilet, office desk, bookshelf, bluetooth speakers, solar, twin batteries, a water heater, cassette toilet, power inverter, vent fan, skylight… so much good stuff :) I built her to last. She’s no cookie-cutter, cheap and trendy, kit-built rig. She won’t fall apart the first time you go over a PNW pothole. She won’t melt in the rain. She’s got marine-grade wiring and waterproof connections, so road vibration and temperature fluctuations won’t lead to loose wires. Every metal-wood connection has silicone gaskets to keep squeaks to a minimum. I built this van to be SERVICEABLE - I used screws, not glue or nail guns, to put her together. You can remove entire walls and cabinets if you need to get to her guts - with minimal swearing and busted knuckles. I knew I’d be the one turning the wrenches through the years, so I did it right. I also wrote myself a "van manual" that has all the build details - down to the thread pitch of every bolt and gauge of every wire, because I knew I wouldn’t remember for future fixes, but I’d be so grateful I wrote it down! You get *all* this info! You also get me - I’m happy to be a resource if you have any questions. I also had all the standard maintenance done, at all the factory-recommended intervals. She’s due for an oil change at her local mechanic, everything else is good. Heat blows HOT, AC blows COLD. Engine purrs like a lil kitten. I want to sell this van to someone that will take her out on the road again and maybe send me a photo every once in a while. I’d keep her if I was going to keep traveling, but I’m planted in Portland and I’d rather someone else is out enjoying her. Van stuff: 2017 RAM Promaster high roof 159"wb - 6ft tall people can stand inside her! She fits in a standard parking space! Gas v6 engine 105k (mostly highway) miles Immaculate maintenance record All-season tires still good (bought locally, 2023) New bluetooth-connected stereo in cab New van battery (replaced 2024) House stuff: Twin(ish) size pullout bed in back + front daybed/children's bed in front Two “rooms” that you could even hang a curtain between for privacy Removable (small) dog bed platform between front seats w/storage drawer underneath 20gal fresh water + 20gal graywater wheelwell water tanks w/insulated in-house lines for problem-free winter travel - and clear plexiglass access windows w/remote monitor Sink with pullout spray faucet 5gal propane system for Ecotemp water heater and inset Dometic cooktop Full kitchen cabinet with soft-close drawers (that actually stay closed even over rough roads) Built-in, pullout cutting board Upper cabinetry for clothes and kitchen storage w/magnetic latches Custom translucent bubble skylight with pop-in blackout cover for sleeping Custom multi-layer foam mattresses (I sleep like a baby in her, even as a side-sleeper) Handmade insulated magnetic window covers Dometic fridge w/freezer compartment Vent fan with attached rain cover Sound-deadening curtain between cab and house Dimmable LED under-cabinet lights, LED overhead lights, flexible reading lights at each bed w/USB charge ports for phones USB multi-outlet on countertop Built-in BOSE waterproof marine speakers Dometic cassette toilet in pullout trolley (so easy, not gross to dump) Built-in bungee-secured bookshelf Flip-up office desk Flip-down table next to daybed Underbed storage for leveling ramps Underbed tool and utility storage Underbed fly rod storage Windows over daybed, pullout bed, and in sliding door - with custom no-see-um fine mesh screens to keep out the tiniest skeeters Sliding door step and grab handle for easy entry/exit Coat hooks, magnets, bungee corded storage cubbies throughout Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors Wiring for wireless signal booster (currently not working, needs new antenna) Swanky + easily accessible D-rings near slider door for securing loose cargo Built-in plant pots/holders (pothos was pretty happy under the skylight!)
