Seller's Description
This van build out was built out of love by me and my dad during covid as a home. I love her dearly and don't necessarily want to part with the van, but life changes and so I must sadly sell the van (aka Vanimal aka Big Bertha). The van has been serviced exclusively by Ford in the time I have used it. We decided on her build based on a weekend warrior type build, with the option to live full time if need be. Lets talk through the van... The interior overview: A kitchenette with sink, hand pump water from 6 gallon tanks below the sink and camping stove to use One reversible seat (when surf boards or other items are not under it) to use if two people are eating or working in the van One reclined permanently built seat (with cassette toilet under) to be used with the pull out table Pull out table to use as work/eat table that locks in place while driving Couch/bed that converts easily between the two The wood is a finply wood with white resin outer coating and the countertops are white oak The kitchen backdrop is mother of pearl The Build: 2 Renogy 100 watt solar panels Renogy 200AH AGM battery (brand new -- 1 month old) SmartSolar MPPT Solar controller with smartphone app for easy monitoring 2 Maxxair 10 speed reversible fans for full air ventilation 8 dimmable interior LED lights with dual dimmer light switch (front and rear controlled separately) 4 120 V outlets, 2 USB outlets, 1 cigarette lighter outlets installed in walls for easy cell phone and laptop solar charging Stainless steel sink with Whale hand pump faucet (2) 6 gallon tanks for clean and grey water Metallic nightshade and curtains installed in the front, rear, and side window for complete privacy Large amount of storage space beneath platform bed Walls and ceiling insulated with Thinsulate, floor insulated with XPS foam boards Rattletrap sound dampener installed throughout Swivel/rotating passenger seat to face back towards build out The van has had two previous owners: The first used the van as a maintenance van, but didn't put many milage on her. The second owner had intended to build her out and got so far as to put flooring down and decided it was not for him. I took her in as the third owner and love her dearly. There is a small bit of rust in one location on the roof, easily fixable. The back fan system does not currently work, but I have just been using it as ventilation with the front fan system circulating the air through the two systems when cooking inside. I am happy to answer any other questions regarding the van, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would love her to go to a loving home where all you want to do is drive off into the horizon with your surfboards, snowboard, climbing gear and go frolic in beautiful places!
