Seller's Description
I’m selling my 2006 Ford E350 DIY camper van, semi-converted in 2022 into a cozy and functional adventure vehicle. This van has served me well and is in a great position to be further modified by someone else, or used as a utility vehicle. Originally a government vehicle, it’s been well-maintained and is now outfitted for light to moderate camping and road trips, and even works well enough as a living space that I was able to spend a summer living in it while working on a farm. The build is custom and DIY, with a functional but quirky charm. While not a professional conversion, everything works like it should and is designed simply. I ran out of funds to continue working on it, but found myself comfortable enough in the state it's currently at to use it regularly. Basic Info: -Mileage: 165,000~ (mostly dormant but gets used periodically) -Engine: 5.4 liter V8 -Transmission: Automatic -Drive Type: Rear-Wheel Drive -Condition: Mechanically solid and well-maintained, light cosmetic damage, semi-converted -Title: Clean -Vin: 1FBNE31L86DA24585 Features and Additions: *Interior* -Insulated walls, roof, and floor with sheep wool for natural temperature control. -Lithium battery system (easy swap with alkaline battery if desired) with RV plug-in port (driver’s side) for easy charging. -Living area lights and back interior utility light on individual dimmer switches. -3 sets of 3-prong outlets (6 plugs total) that work when the van is plugged in. -Ceiling Vent/Fan: Functions even when closed to protect from rain. -Driver and Passenger Swivel Seats -Cedar Ceiling Planks: Fire treated, stained, and sealed. -Window Tint & Covers: UV-reducing clear tint on windshield and front windows, and UV-reducing privacy tint on the rest of the windows. Insulated reflective windshield cover and fitted Reflectix window covers for the rest of the windows. (Complete privacy and darkness when all are deployed.) -Upgraded Stereo System with Bluetooth: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. *Exterior* -All-Terrain Tires: Designed for off-road conditions. (Van does not have 4WD though so be careful!) -Roof Rack -Tow Hitch: Includes a basic hitch with a hide-a-key safe installed inside. Can be easily removed if you want to use the hitch, however there is no electrical hookup for a trailer. -LED Headlights *Optional* -Bed/Seat Platform: Folds down into a queen-sized bed or up into a bench seat. Creates storage underneath with a folding faceplate for access. (Currently installed but can be removed without compromising the interior build, if you'd prefer.) Asking Price: $15,000 (or best offer) This van is in great condition and has plenty of life left. I’m only parting with it because I have the opportunity to acquire a different van that fits my current lifestyle better. It’s a little quirky because of the DIY conversion, but it’s functional, reliable, and ready for its next owner. If you have any questions or want to take a look, feel free to reach out!
