We have enjoyed our MB Cruiser Model 223 immensely and used it to explore the Rocky Mountain States and countless National Parks, State Parks and so many sites across the great west. MB Cruisers are very unique sprinter van made in limited numbers. There were only 60 per year made for six years and they are truly a gem. The “MB” stands for Mercedes-Benz in reference to the engine and chase originating from Mercedes-Benz and then Freightliner building the rest of the coach. While Fall River built out the camper portion of the Campervan. The M-B Cruiser is powered by a Mercedes-Benz turbo charged 5-cylinder diesel engine that feels more like a V-8. But unlike a V-8, it offers fuel economy of approximately 22 miles per gallon with a range of over 500 miles. With a body width about the same as a conventional van, the M-B Cruiser makes maneuverability and parking incredibly simple. Headroom in the M-B Cruiser is ample and clever use of space provides many of the amenities of large motorhomes, including a roomy dinette, sofa, a full galley, overhead cabinets, and a bathroom with separate shower. The floor plan of our motor home does not have any restrictive interior walls to make one feel confined. The large windows enhance this “open feeling”. A large side door adds to the spacious feel. You’ll feel you’re in a much larger motor home due to our well thought out floor plan. The 2005 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 High Roof is a versatile Class B vehicle tailored for recreational purposes. With about 110,000 miles on the odometer, this vehicle has been well-traveled and is ready for its next owner to take it on new adventures. The high roof design provides ample headroom for passengers. It is ideally set up for two people to explore the world. The spec sheet states 22 miles per gallon on the incredible Mercedes 5-cylinder diesel engine. Plenty of power to drive mountain roads and even hums right up I-70 high into the mountains. The 170WB trim offers a longer wheelbase, providing stability and improved handling on the road. This model is known for its reliability and durability, making it a popular choice for all recreational users. The powerful engine ensures smooth acceleration and efficient fuel consumption, making it cost-effective for long-distance travel. The tires have low mileage and in great shape. The only item needing maintenance is the on-board generator which we never needed with the upgrade to AGM batteries. The previous owners treated it like their baby, and we followed suit. Upgrades include: • Previous owner upgrades o New cabinet doors o Kitchen backsplash o Updated cushions and upholstery • Current owner upgrades ($5,180 total) o Brand new Dometic 9500 Manual Patio Case Awning to match original in 2024 ($1,650) o Upgraded alternator in 2022 ($2,675) o Upgraded Batteries from Lead-Acid to AGM, two VMAXTANKS 6 Volt 225Ah ($585) o Replaced dashboard and vents ($140) o Replaced sun visors ($130) Don’t miss your chance to add adventure to your life in grand fashion by experiencing more of this beautiful country.
