Seller's Description
Off-grid camper van with water storage, solar power, outdoor shower and off road tires for sale. This van has all kinds of features that allow you to go on long adventures in the middle of nowhere. It is clean and reliable and has a lot of fun left in it. I'm sad to part ways with Stan the Tan Van, but am happy it will go to someone else who will take it on more great trips. You could even live in this van, it has everything you need. Two water tanks under the front of the bed in in front of the rear axle hold over 90 gallons of fresh water. A 12 volt pump delivers water to a sink and spigot off the back of the van that can be used to connect a hose to clean off a dirty dog or gear. An outdoor shower and two propane tanks are included in the sale. There is a nice sized fridge that runs on battery power so you can stock up on food for your adventure. It also comes with a two burner stove that can be used for outdoor cooking and that attaches to the outside propane tanks. A smaller single burner stove that runs on the little green tanks is also included that can be used inside on those cold and wet mornings to boil water to make coffee without going outside. Lots if storage under the sink for pots and pans and other kitchen stuff. There is a 6 inch memory foam queen size mattress that is very comfortable and clean. Ample storage space under the bed for gear and shelves along the side provide space for clothes and food. There is a rear heater that runs off of the engine for those cold nights and it is very well insulated. It comes with Reflectix covers for the windows for privacy and extra insulation. The rear and side windows pop open for ventilation and there is a roof vent with a fan to help with air flow. Even on the hottest days, all this ventilation and insulation keeps the van from roasting. There are even homemade door screens for when you camp in a buggy area. The power system on this van is superb. There is a 300 watt panel on the roof that charges two extra AGM batteries under the bed. It comes with an extra smaller auxiliary solar panel that connects with 50 feet of cable so you can position it in the sun if you're parked in a shady area. There are two small inverters included that you can use to generate AC power if you need it. There is a dual battery isolator that charges the auxiliary batteries from the alternator while the engine is running, and it also keeps the car battery charged from the auxiliary battery when the engine is off. It's a pretty sweet setup any I've never had a dead battery even with the music playing late into the night. There is a switch panel that controls the interior any exterior LED lights and other electrical components. There is a custom sound system with Bluetooth, a subwoofer that bumps and rear speakers that swivel so you can listen outside. There's also a cell phone signal booster included so you can still steam music or do remote work even when you are in the backwoods. The interior is wood panels coated with polyurethane for easy cleaning. The cork floors are really durable and also easy to clean. Washable heavy duty seat covers and floor mats are also included. A roof rack with a basket provides even more storage. An outdoor awning and poles is included that attaches to the roof rack for sun and rain protection and it stores conveniently inside the side step of the van. BF Goodrich all terrain tires will get you almost anywhere. The rear tires are new this past summer and have less 2,000 miles on them, the front ones are a bit older but still have great tread. The van has a K&N air filter and runs very well. The A/C blows cold. I was in a fender bender with it a couple of years ago and because of the age of the van even though there was minor cosmetic damage, the title was salvaged. It has been repaired and the title was restored. Hence the mismatched passenger fender and slight damage to the hood. The van is a 1998 Ford Econoline E350 Club Wagon and has around 298K miles. Also included in the storage bins under the bed are leveling blocks, jumper cables, a 12 volt vacuum cleaner and a tire inflator air compressor. This van is just so awesome and a lot of thought and love was put into building it out and maintaining it. If you have any questions or want to check it out, let me know. I'm east of Flagstaff in the Winona area.
