Seller's Description

My husband and I are selling our beloved bus because we're moving overseas. It's a DIY off-grid build with some special features that would be perfect for an adventurous person/couple who works online or has large power needs. I have my floor plan drawing and the kitchen side elevation drawing in the pictures. Details: -2002 Ford E450, 7.3L Turbodiesel -294K miles, but runs and starts like a champ -25' bumper to bumper, rear dually -6x BF Goodrich AT tires (bought new last year) -2 brand new Duralast Platinum batteries -Replaced most of the drive train within the last 2 years (Ring and Pinion, U-Joints, carrier bearing), and brakes (1 rotor, 1 ball joint, 3 calipers, all pads, 3 bearings). Spent most of it's life in the desert, so there is very minimal underbody rust. -Living area is about 16'x7'7", roughly 6'3" interior height -Massive DIY power system. 1560w of residential panels, 6500w inverter/charger/transfer switch, 15a plug for shore power/generator, 230AH 48v LiFePo4 battery (11000-12000wH, the equivalent of 9 or 10 100AH 12V batteries), alternator charging. We can throw in our small generator as well (2000w Predator). Full disclosure, the battery BMS will only let you draw 100A max so you can only use a max of 5000w continuous inverter draw. But you will rarely need that much... -110v plugs throughout, USB phone and device chargers by bedside -12000 BTU Bosch mini split heat pump (can heat or cool) -VVKB Diesel heater - way nicer quality than the Amazon CDH, with smart settings for different elevations. Feeds directly from bus fuel tank -40gal fresh tank, 12v pump and pressure accumulator, 2 stage water filter. Can get replacement filters from any Lowes/Walmart/etc -7gal grey tank under sink (hand dump) -Soft close drawer slides, marine slam latches and baby latches ensure that cabinets and doors stay shut -Spacious dorm fridge with small freezer compartment -dinette that seats 4 (2 lap belts for passengers), separate 6' workspace that seats 2 -Double bed (high quality foam mattress in fully enclosed mattress cover) with tons of storage underneath; bed is on metal slatted frame with lots of airflow (never worry about mold) with hinged lift to get underneath -Shoe shelf at entryway -Electric bus door with fob for remote opening -Custom insulated window covers that totally block out the body windows -bicycle rack for 2 bikes (front) -Cedar T&G ceiling -15A engine block heater for colder weather I want to be upfront about the bus; it is a DIY build, not a professional build. There's no bathroom inside, though there is space for a composting toilet. There is no on-demand hot water. We were boondocking in remote places, so we used LNT methods, outdoor solar shower bags and a pop up tent which can be provided with the bus. The body of the bus is not insulated. There is an oil leak, but it's not throwing any codes nor does it seem to affect the functionality of the bus as far as we can tell. We have trusted mechanics here, so if the oil leak is a dealbreaker I can see how much it would cost to fix. There is no dash AC. That said, my husband and I lived in it very happily since May 2022, boondocked in amazing remote places, only paid for campsites maybe 5 times, and it felt like pure luxury a lot of the time. We're only selling the bus because we want to move to another country, and it doesn't make sense to ship it there or to keep it in storage indefinitely. We're not in a rush to sell, but we do want our bus to become a home for the right person! Please DM me if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer. Serious inquiries only.
