It’s in excellent condition, with almost zero wear on all components. This thing has literally been driven from San Diego to Phoenix / Grand Canyon and Sacramento and I estimate the tires have less than 2.5K miles on them. I have checked all of the listing sites and finding something like this at this price is going to be hard. Most other similarly priced vans have a shorter wheelbase, lower roof, a missing the bathroom, were not professional built, or have higher mileage. I know I'm not going to get my money back, but I think $74k is a competitively priced and fair deal given the mileage, the utility, and the quality of parts used to build this thing. If you feel otherwise, I'd be happy to discuss a fair offer. I love this van, and I do not want to get rid of it, but my current situation has me working out of the country for most of the year, so I only get to enjoy it once or twice a year. I would love for someone to take this van and give it the life it deserves. The van does have 2 minor issues: - The gas gauge is misaligned which is causing the only warning on the dash. This is caused by the gas line to the heater interfering with the gas gauge which causes the gas readout on the dash to always say it is at a quarter tank. This can be fixed by recalibrating the gas gauge in the tank. - The side door handle has broken off which apparently is a pretty common issue with Transits. Fortunately, the handle is still attachable so it can be taken off and attached at your convenience. While I was originally kinda bummed about this, it turns out it is a great feature because the handle can be removed all together when it isn’t needed which has turned out to be a pretty awesome anti-theft feature. With regards to solar: - I was originally going to install panels at the start of the build but I opted for more energy storage instead. That said, the wiring to connect the panels is already installed and ready to connect to panels so none of the framing or walls need to be modified if you want to install panels in the future. The only other component needed is the charge controller ($1K) which is also included, it just needs to be installed, and everything connected together. Registered through June '25 For more details or to schedule a viewing, DM me and I'll answer any questions or coordinate a viewing with my friend that is storing it for me! Full inventory of parts used in the build can be provided upon request. Also willing to help with the tax burden by understating the sale price for KBB value of the van without the mods.
