Full Disclosure: Installing a 42 SEER minisplit on the rear door of a transit and allowing it to open/close while ensuring no leaks even when repeatedly driving down 4x4 roads required me to clamp the lineset to the condenser case. This worked exceptionally well, but the tradeoff of having no leaks and perfect functionality even after 2+ years is that the condenser is able to add a slight harmonic to the lineset for a few minutes, which then makes a resonant tone on the indoor unit for approximately 1-2 minutes. The system is fully functional and the sound is minor enough it doesn't bother me, but it is one imperfection in an otherwise fantastic setup.
