My partner and I have loved using Sherpa but probably one of the best parts about this particular conversion is that it makes a great Airbnb rental. Sherpa typically brings in $5-6$k a year just sitting in our driveway, but in a more purpose built environment could certainly bring in more. We’d love to be able to hand Sherpa off to someone who could continue to care for her as we do. The technical stuff: Sherpa begin her at a retirement home in Ohio, which is why the mileage is so low. There’s also a lot of rust underneath, but it does not affect the frame or critical components and has not gotten worse since leaving the salty Midwest. We’ve also had work done to replace the shocks, breaks/rotars, steering stabilizer upper/lower ball joint. The engine has also had some work done, which includes replacing the coils and spark plugs (a common issue with this specific V10). We can share all the invoices from the work done. You should do your own research on this type of vehicle, but with basic servicing, this V10 engine will last a long time. Sherpa is a dually, equipped with AT tires in the rear and all purpose in the front.
